I wanted to draw *something* for Valentine’s Day so here we are,,

I tend to forget that Valentines tends to be pretty much a kids and couples holiday
so whenever I get excited and let people know about it, it’s always “oh got any plans?” *wink wink*
And to that I say my plans are candy,,

My family has a tradition of having heart shaped/colored ravioli for dinner and then having chocolate
fondue for dessert. It’s loads of fun and we pull out all sorts of snack foods to dip in it like bananas,
strawberries, chips, pretzels, etc. and we mess around with the dipping stuff too,, dark chocolate,
milk chocolate, peanut butter candy chips, butterscotch
and then my grandma who loves sweets more than my entire family combined makes heart cookies
out of red velvet cake mix and coats them with powered sugar hehehe

So basically the whole family gets stuffed full of sugar while we’re all together having a good ol’ time

Does anyone else have fun valentines traditions? :0c

Usually my brother, sister, and I help as waiters at a thing my church calls the Sweetheart Banquet, while my parents attend the banquet. Basically we have a team of cooks who make a huge meal and then our youth group and young adults get to serve everyone. Its really fun. Sometimes we get the leftover food too

Aww I hope you get a rose too ): I hadn’t realized that I wanted one until my Dad got me one and then I understood it,,
I am sending you a million imaginary roses right now, they’re going to give the imaginary postal service a headache but I’m sure they’ll be willing to overlook it

hm,, i have an odd habit of getting the best rock i can find during valentines & then just waiting for ASAW to arrive, but now i think the previous comment gave me an idea of getting roses & leaving one for as many neighbors i can. a lil whimsy.
valentines becomes a better holiday in my eyes when it celebrates all kinds of love & comradery than just for couples & unhappy singles making self-deprecating jokes.
