"x" is not a random nickname! i have two middle names- a legal, official one, and one used by my family, taken from my moms chinese name. they both start with x! what made me start using it, though, was because there's another girl in my high school that has the same name as me- except for our middle names. that was the only way the school could tell us apart, and our friends started calling us by our middle names to differentiate
