Gah! Another cliffhanger! Why? D:

Well, that was every bit as intense as I had imagined it would be, and then some. I knew that they'd fight, and I figured that at least one of them would get hurt, but I didn't expect them to fight quite so hard. Poor injured Malakai, and poor corrupted Veryx. I feel for both of them, and that very last bit when Malakai asked Veryx when he had stopped being a guide, and then Veryx hesitating to swing his scythe gave me chills. This is just so good. >.<

And that art, though. Just wow. It definitely set the mood. I soon as I saw it, my mouth literally dropped open a bit and remained that way up until I was done staring at it, and then reading the story below. Freaking incredible.
