Stormpaw felt bad for Wolfpaw for a moment, but
realized how quickly the larger cat would get the
upper paw once they did start training. Stormpaw
attempted to control his breathing, trying not to
freak himself out too much.

Foxclaw slunk through the undergrowth, scenting the air. He stopped, spotting a squirrel perched on the root of a tree, munching a nut. He stalked towards it, then leaped, killing it swiftly. He buried it for after.

Wolfpaw felt his pelt burn hot with embarrassment. He shuffled his paws. "R-Right. Sorry." I knew I'd mess this up. This time, he tried to leap more swiftly at Stormpaw.

Stormpaw yet out a yelp, caught off guard by the
other cat's quick movements, attempting to twist
his body away from the leap. Though he failed to
get away in time, he thought quickly enough to
batter the other cat's muzzle in a final attempt to
get away. He knew he was probably not doing the
right thing to get away, but it was all he could do
for the time being.

"Stormpaw, try leaping sideways like this" Flamestar mewed as she leapt to the side to show him.

Breezeflower was feeling confident after the vole. Scenting a mouse, she tried to catch it as well, but missed by a whisker length, scaring the mouse back to it's burrow "Fox-dung" she spat quietly

Foxclaw pricked his ears. "Mousedung!" He heard a quiet hiss. He peered over a bush, and spotted Breezeflower. He slipped around the bush and greeted her softly, making sure not to startle her. "Hey Breezeflower," he said, padding up. "Miss a catch?"

Swiftbreeze felt claws slice her side. She whipped around, no one. Claws battering her head. She looked up, no one was there. She heard tiny mewls. There! Rosekit and Squirrelkit were cowering in a corner of the darkness surrounding her. Swiftbreeze plunged towards them, but found she couldn't move. Claws were grappling her paws, and she couldn't escape. She twisted and turned, but nothing helped.
Swiftbreeze jerked awake, panting hard. She looked down at her kits, sleeping peacefully. She tucked them closer to her belly, only to push them away gently, her belly sweating. Swiftbreeze got up and stepped out of the nursery. "I just need some air." She muttered quietly.

Nightpaw sat on the edge of camp, scowling. Where's my lazy mentor? We should be training! She thought angrily. Maybe I should just go train on my own.

Blackfur searched around camp looking for Nightpaw, "Where is that apprentice?" he murmered to himeself.
