The sense of genuine interest she picked up from the tom warmed her heart, including the fact that he seemed to understand. "Yes, it always had felt peaceful for me. the snow has always given me a sense of... innocence, I suppose." She mewed, and after a pause, she heard a question that was much harder for her to answer straightforwardly. Or is there another reason? In truth, she knew the answer 'It's having you here with me.' but in her mind, the words sounded quite awkward for her to say. So instead, she spoke a tad more vaguely. "Yes, It's having loved ones spending time with me that makes it so enjoyable." Friends were considered loved ones... right? 'Or is he something else?' the little voice nagged at her with the question, but she had known the answer long before it had ever been asked, no matter how long she would deny it.

Volekit squeaked, always surprised by his brother's sudden energy spike so soon after waking up. With a playful mewl, he raced out of the den,"Come on Treekit!" Briareyes purred at their antics, stretching out to join Volekit and Swiftleap. "You heard him, let's go",the queen stood.

Aspensong chuckled,"The river isn't frozen yet, it's just a little cold." She tilted her head as a few cats entered camp, returning from hunting and patrolling with puffed up pelts. "But if you want we can just stay in camp of course",she added, trying to imagine how cold falling in the river might be.

Dustfang nodded, easily standing and adding,"Come on then, I know a place were a fox was just last half moon. Maybe you'll be able to catch it's scent. The tough tom need not even puff up his pelt from the cold, it was thick enough to remain as normal: without hesitation he'd set right up.

There will be times you will want to be upset with a cat for something they did or said with out thinking, and there will be times you won't want to let those things go,but you have to. . .sometimes we make poor choices,and I know. .that everday Brightstar had to spend wondering if you were alive and doing alright. . .she was miserable and couldn't forgive herself. . she still can't,but maybe. . just maybe you can."Troutsplash backed up,sitting down next to Petalpelt and her two kits,gently putting a paw on Cloudykit so she would hold still as a greying calico came up,the scent of herb wafting around the area as she stepped up to Wolfsong."I do hope you remember me Wolfsong.
