Sunpelt yawned as she came out of the elder's den slowly. Her old bones hurt and it was hard for her to get around. She looked around the clearing to see Darkfang and another she-cat eating prey together. She smiled at the two bonding and then went over to a patch of sunlight to lay in so that she could warm her creamy-colored fur.

Darkfang swallowed the last bit of his mouse. "Of course we can and the bones...well...I really don't know what to do with them. I bury them so that they can decompose into the ground." He said, "Scout a little bit closer to me and we can start sharing tongues."

Foxpaw shook out her fur as she watched her mentor. After watching closly, Foxpaw stood at the river's edge. She coppied Dawnfire, but missed the fish. "Mouse-dung." She cursed, continuing to try. After a couple more misses, she groaned. "Why is fish catching so hard?" She complained as she sat down, taking a little brake.

Wolfpaw flicked his ear in surprise. A couple days?! Why didn't she come to get it out earlier. Sniffing her pad, he licked it a few times before grasping the thorn and swiftly tugging it out. "I don't know if something's wrong with your kit unless you bring her here. While you're going to get her, focus on your pad. I want to know if it stings of burns." He said, spitting out the thorn.

"Patience dear" Dawnfire said, "You must be calm and precise is all." To give another example, Dawnfire sat on the bank and waited, frozen, for a fish to come by. When a silvery tail flashed in the sun, Dawnfire lashed out two paw-lengths in front of the fish. When she scooped her paw back out of the water, the fish was there, wriggling and struggling to breath. Having already caught a fish, Dawnfire let this one go and turned back to Foxpaw, "You see?" she said, "You want to aim for where you think the fish will be, not where it is."

Fireflower nodded and scootched over to Darkfang after she'd buried the bones. "Who's the old cat over there?" she asked, flicking her tail to Sunpelt.

Wolfpaw laughed and answered with a nod. "Yeah, I'm sure." He said, staring out at the camp. "You're gonna be a warrior, right?" He asked the kit, looking down at her.

Foxpaw nodded, staring at her mentor in admiration. Going back to the bank, she sat there staring at the water. She slowly lifted her paw, her eyes searching for a slower fish. Why must they be so fast!? She almost groaned, but lashed out with her paw instead, her eys catching a silvery glint. Bringing her paw out of the water, there was a small fish. "Whoa! I caught one!" She yowled happily. In her excitement, she accidentally let the fish slip out of her paw and slide back into the water. She ducked her head down shamefully. "Aww, I let it get away." She grumbled.

Darkfang turned over his shoulder to see the she-cat relaxing in the sun. He smiled. "Oh that's Sunpelt. She's the mother of our leader, Flamestar." He turned back to Fireflower. "I don't know much about her truthfully, but I think she's nice."

Sunpelt continued to purr in the sunlight as it warmed her bones. Suddenly, however, she began to go into a coughing fit. She kept coughing and coughing until finally the rasping coughing ceased. She swallowed, unsure about what the coughing was, and curled back into her ball to soak in the sunlight

Bloodstrike glaced around the clearing. he sneared at the riverclan cats.
talo and snarlthorn toke their apprentices out to train.
eve sat," today is the day", she meowed to hollyleaf.
hollyleaf heard coughing and went out to the clearing. she saw sunspot cough. " you feel ok", she asked.

Puddlepaw followed Snarlthorn to go training, excited to learn something new.

Sunpelt continued to cough in the clearing. She growled lowly because the coughing annoyed her. She couldn't soak in the sun in peace if the coughing bothered her.

hollyleaf rushed to her den and brought back a few herbs. " these will make you feel better", she said passing over the herbs." eat them", hollyleaf meowed.

Sunpelt, still coughing, nodded and ate the herbs Hollyleaf gave her. She managed to choke out through her coughs, "I think something's wrong with me..."

" you should go to my den and rest. thats the first step. you may have whitecough. so... errr.... ill get you freshkill and you can be in the sunny nest, if you like.", hollyleaf say leading her to the med cat den.
