Returning player advice?

Hi! I just got back to CS, and never really explored as much as I should have before so! I was wondering if anyone had any advice or fun facts about the site to share?

My advice is to adopt all the free pets from the RPG event as you can before they are all gone in roughly 10.5 hours. Maybe trade your pets or c$ for tokens to buy a few token pets.

Other than that. Did you ever like closed species? There are a few fun closed species and uma (user made adaptables) you can join for cool adopts to own c:

These are the two closed species I am active in Fables and Wild Mountain Equids. There are plenty more but those are 2 I am in.

WMEs cuz I like horses lol

Fables has some unique features especially. Once a month you can either Color in a Make Your Own (MYO), commission an artist to color in the MYO lines, or claim an artist search entry (if artist allows). You make your adopt official with writing or art c: so it only costs you your time to get into the species. I have been in species where I try and try to adopt for months. Not so in Fables.

They also have a seasonal nursery (right now it is summer) that gives non-owners an opportunity to get a semi-custom! For free ^^ once you own a fable you can breed your fable in the nursery even if you own just one! It's called single parent breeding (also unique!)

I recommend joining the fable discord if you are interested c: everyone is nice and will help you get started. Okay bye!
