in a post apocalyptic world, the former companions of the last civilization have come to reign over the natural world.

kithragons were originally bio-engineered pets but after a world ending catastrophe, they were released into the wilds. despite being partially inorganic, kithragons have established themselves and have adapted to life beyond the
cities that they used to call home. they now live in groups called clans, oftentimes building small structures and creating tools to help with their survival. as they are partially inorganic, kithragons require both solar energy to recharge their batteries for their visor display and also various food items to keep healthy.

aeolia is a sprawling world with a singular main continent and several smaller and diverse islands.
there are many ruins, biomes, and mysteries to explore on this world!

General:

• Follow all CS Rules
• Be respectful to others in the community, including staff and non-staff members
  

Species:

• Credit Kithragons and art appropriately to the creators of said art and adopts.
• You must have a clan tracker to adopt a kithragon. This is where you will track ARPG info and adopt info.
• Please do not harass staff over UMA related tasks.
• All Kithragons must have their visor.
• All Kithragons have at max four colors on their base coat*. Scales, feathers, visors, etc. may be additional colors.
• Do not remove the signature or claim Kithragons as your own.
• Please do not edit your Kithragon's colors or edits without proper items.
• You may obtain only one founder.
• Kithragons and Kithragon items may be traded for other Kithragons or with other partnered communities if allowed.
• Free Kithragons may not be resold unless they had additional, paid for art. Then they may be sold for the price of said art.
• Paid for Kithragons or Kithragons from Paid for Slots/Items may be resold for the same price as originally purchased.
  
  *npcs, which will have public raffle breeding slots, are an exception and can pass down more than 4 colors.

FAQ:

v1 Related:

• v1 kiths are still valid, and do not need to be transferred to the pixel base to be used in events, features, etc.
• users may transfer onto v1 base if desired and vice versa, for free. this system will open in the near future.
• rarities have been soft retired from the v1 version, and will not play a role in litters moving forwards.
• unfinished founders from v1 may be completed here if requested, or a user may create them themselves on the customs thread by reposting their accepted Founder Form on the v1 customs thread.
• artists from v1 may request to be staff here if desired, simply PM me.
  

General UMA:

• A store, customs, breeding, etc, may be future features. I'm currently planning on keeping things simple and not adding those at the start.
• Litter announcements will be made at least a day in advance to give people notice.
• A user can only adopt one kithragon per litter. If multiple litters are released in a day, you may adopt one from each litter.
• You are welcome to add accessories to your Kithragon without approval, so as long as you provide non-item references for breeding and trades.
• Gradients are permitted as base colors, but must still meet the four color rule when used.
• Opacity and layer changes may be used over a base to generate more complexity to a design, but they must be of the four base colors (eg, if you have a blue, green, pink, and yellow base, you could use any of those four colors as a clipped layer over the 'base' to add to the design. you couldn't use purple, though.)
  

Staff:

• Artists should make one batch of free to adopt kithragon a month, or take on three free founders.
• Free batches can have any edits or animations, but must follow Species Guidelines.
• Artists earn one 'Custom Slot' for every five free kithragon they make. (Subject to adjustments)
• 'Custom Slots' may be sold, traded, or used by the staff member. They have no real world currency value by default but may be sold or exchanged for Real Life Currency.
• 'Custom Slots' may have any amount of edits or animations so long as they meet Kithragon species standards. They may not have more than four base colors.
• 'Custom slots' may be used for breedings with a randomly rolled for number of offspring created from the pairing (up to four) or one kithragon created per user involved. (If two users use a slot together, they could roll randomly for the number of created offspring, or select to get one each from the pairing).

most clans start with one kithragon who was called to lead

founder forms are open on a 'open post' basis. an artist will post that they have founder slots open, and that is when you may post the form below. these are essentially free mini-customs for lore purposes. founders will not have major edits, but may feature ear, tail, or fur edits.

you do not require a founder to adopt premade kithragons, interact with the shop/events, etc..
