I have lost connection with one of my makos, Turtwig, so I decided to put him up for a free readoption!

Innovative:
Vikrama loves finding new ways to do things. Most often, this is because it's some
kind of chore that he's been instructed to complete, and he's trying to find the
quickest way to do it so that he can leave to go and do the things he enjoys. Some of
the 'inventions' he has come up with are quite elaborate. These include self-watering
plant pots, a device that measures exactly how much fertilizer a plant needs, and a
special variety of plant food that keeps a plant fed for up to a month.
Compassionate:
Other Makos will often say that Vikrama has the biggest heart of any Mako around,
even if he doesn't seem to go out of his way to show it. In truth, he thrives on helping
others, and can't stand seeing others being ignored when they obviously need help
with something, even if it's something minor. He donates to charity a lot, and is the
first person his friends call when they need a hand with something. He always seems
to have a creative and easy solution to their problems.
Clean:
Vikrama is what many people would refer to as a neat freak. He believes that
everything has its place, and that everything should be completely clean all of the
time. He takes three showers every day, and washes his hands after he touches pretty
much anything. He's pretty strict about people coming to his house. There should be
no shoes worn while inside, and if you use something, put it back exactly where you
found it.

Driven:
No matter what it is that Vikrama is doing, he will always do his absolute best to
complete it. He never leaves a task unfinished, and once he sets his mind on
something, it's pretty much impossible to stop him from doing it. Unfortunately, this
has led to a bad habit of overworking himself, so it often takes a friend to step in
and tell him that he needs to take a break. He'll listen about half of the time, so
some patience is required.
Familial:
Vikrama grew up in an incredibly close-knit family. His parents and grandparents all
lived in the same house until Vikrama moved out, which itself was a big event. He
treats all of his friends as if they were related to him, and doesn't have much of a
bubble, so he'll often hug his friends to greet them. He's also pretty comfortable
around all of his friends, and has been known to borrow their showers when he stays
at their houses without permission.

Snarky:
Being close to Vikrama isn't always a good thing. Because he gets so close to people
so easily, he'll start to act snarky and sometimes a little offensive around them. Most
are able to just brush it off, knowing that it's just the way this Mako acts. But for
some, he takes it too far, and this has been known to cause arguments and even
fights on more than one occasion. He's often pretty slow to apologize too, so another
Mako may be needed as a mediator.
Afraid Of Disappointing People:
With as close as Vikrama is to his family and everyone around him, this Mako is
absolutely terrified of disappointing those he loves. It's always a thought in the back
of his mind that he has to please everyone, and he has to do his absolute best to
keep everyone happy. With his often snarky comments, this can be pretty difficult,
but as he grows older he's been slowly working through it. His fear of disappointing
people is the main thing holding him back from achieving his dreams.
Annoying:
If Vikrama doesn't like you, you'd better believe he'll go out of his way to show it. He'll
be annoying, snarky, sarcastic and over-all a completely terrible person to you if you
give him even the smallest reason to dislike you. This can cause a lot of confrontation,
since sometimes you only have to look at him the wrong way to get this kind of response
out of him. When meeting him for the first time, his friends recommend treading
carefully, and especially not bringing up his job.

Vikrama has sort of inherited the
family business, a florist's shop in the
middle of the city. Trouble is, Vikrama
absolutely loathes his job as a florist.
The work is boring, dirty, complex,
and requires more effort than he'd
really like to put into it. After all, who
wants to crawl around in the dirt all
day, trimming dead leaves away and
watching out for gross bugs.
The job he really wants is to become
a firefighter. With his desire to help
others and his need to solve complex
problems in the most simple way
possible, this job would probably be
absolutely perfect for him. The problem
is, he doesn't want to tell his family
this. He's terrified that he'll upset them
although deep down he knows that
probably will not be the case. For now,
it's just a dream, and he'll need some

personality (at least 100 words): "I can do anything."
Quidel is incredibly ambitious. Once he thinks up something to do and sets his mind on completing that task, he will stay with it and won't stop until either the task is complete or he collapses from exhaustion (that happens more often than he'd like). This is good with small things, and it means he gets stuff done much faster, but the problem is that he tends to take on huge projects. When he does, he tends to forget about 'unimportant' things like food and sleep. Who needs it, anyway, when there's so much to do?

He is quite innovative. He loves creating things (like the treehouse where he lives, or rock towers, or a rope bridge across a dangerous chasm). When he's not trying to figure out something new, he's often exploring, and searching for new interesting things. The reeds at the bank of that river - they could make a neat instrument, or a basket! Those leaves could be used as paper for a book. Quill sees the whole world like this.

If you were to give him a challenge, he wouldn't back down from it, no matter how risky or seemingly impossible it would be. He's quite fearless, not worrying about safety much at all. He just thinks of the adventure.

Quill also worries quite a bit about what others think of him. This is probably his biggest challenge, and it may be part of the reason he is so determined to finish every task he begins. He's gotten quite the reputation for being able to solve any problem, to do anything - what would he do if that was gone?

He can never sit still, at all. Either a paw is tapping or his ear is twitching or his tail is flicking back and forth - he just can't stand having to be absolutely silent and still.

So Quidel might tend to focus a bit too much on his work and not on his friends, and maybe he's a bit eccentric, but he loves the forest and he loves his life, and he thinks things are great just the way they are.

what do they like to do for fun? (at least 100 words): "Fun? Ah, yes."
As stated above, Quidel loves creating new things. The thing might have a purpose or not, it doesn't really matter. He enjoys the challenge either way.
He also enjoys tree climbing. It's such a thrill to be so close to the sky, and to look down and see the ground so far below. It's incredible, and the trees in the rain forest grow so tall, it's easy to get high up. Quill is certainly very glad he's not afraid of heights.
He doesn't enjoy conversation much. Maybe other people do, but he finds it pointless, and also hard. He could talk about his inventions for hours, however, and when there's someone willing to listen to that, talk he does.

Relations:
"Relations. Oh, dear. I was worried we'd get to this bit."
He runs into several people somewhat often, and somehow he's ended up with friends. Friends are nice, especially ones that love Quidel for who he is.
The best out of all his friends is a... well, he doesn't know what exactly she is. She reminds him of a dragon mixed with a fox and then shrunk to be really tiny. But the point is, Kiki also lives in Quidel's rainforest, and though she has a bad habit of startling him by appearing rather suddenly, she's always willing to help Quill out.

Then there's Sylvester. Mysterious, confusing, and very quiet, the deer is apparently the guardian of the rainforest, which is slightly bother some to Quill - he always thought that was his job. Still, the two are nice enough to each other when they meet.

personality (at least 100 words): Super friendly, social, clever, charming, deceitful
what do they like to do for fun? (at least 100 words): Steal stuff. Cosby is a kleptomaniac. Basically, he has an irresistible urge to steal things. So, he decided to have a little fun with it. Okay, a lot of fun. Sometimes he'll just snag an item or two off the store shelves, like a jar of peanut butter or a candy bar. But usually, he pulls off much bigger heists. Go big or go home! Cosby just loves the thrill of it all. The planning, the disguises, the acting, he lives for it. Plus, he can't help it, since it is a true condition. He could probably get help from a counselor to break the habit, but he can't. It isn't just fun and games. Stealing is how he makes a living.

      personality ;; [WIP] There is quite a lot to say about Birchโ€™s personality. He is an environmentalist and a vegan. He is a naturally introverted person. He hardly talks to anyone and when he does itโ€™s only if they approach him first. Despite his introverted personality he really does love everyone around him. He is kind, and sweet hearted. Birch is a very polite little mako. Even with those kind traits he is still very stubborn about what. When it comes down to his beliefs he will โ€œplant himself like a tree.โ€ (Pun intended.) He is extraordinarily loyal to the few people he is friends with. He keeps his friends very close to his heart. He loves his friends and tries to mend their relationships if ever damaged by a harsh word or two, but, of course, this is very unusual. The reason for his asocial personality isnโ€™t surprising. He simply enjoys listening more than talking. He enjoys soaking in every bit of information he can instead of spouting out things that do not even contribute to a conversation. He is most certainly a wall flower. (More nature puns.) He holds his head high and makes sure no one disrespects him. Even if that sometimes ends in a bit of a disagreement he will not allow someone to step on him like a doormat. Some say that this is a sign of an inflated ego, but that is certainly not the case. He is very down to earth.
      what do they like to do for fun? ;; [WIP] His hobbies are fairly clichรฉ. They include enjoying the rain, gardening, hanging out in the forest, and taking a short dip in the river. Though his true favorite thing to do is to watch the stars. He adores the stars. He loves to stare out into the open sky and just forget about everything around him. He will take in all the nature around him and zone off. When he zones out he often starts daydreaming and imagining different scenarios. He will imagine anything from becoming a true hero to living in the trees. Tracing out every single constellation in the sky is amazing for him. His favorite constellation is Persues, the hero. He always thought that someday perhaps he could be a hero as well. Someday when he can break out of his introverted shell enough he will be. Someday he will turn all of his dreams and daydreams into reality.
