Ask away, I don't mind ^^
That depends on how you're going to write the history. If separate then it is easier to put them in separate posts, if you're joining the stories then it is best to have them both in the same one ^^ If you need me to explain this further, I'll steal some examples from myself to make it clearer x3
I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you
You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you
I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

This is not first come first serve, just in case you don't know, this is best form wins. Although since a character is not always given out, you might want to add to your form to be considered in the CD.

Name:
Donovan
Gender:
Male
Species:
Canine>>>Dog>>>Finnish Spitz
Kennel Number:
Seventy Three | #73
Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
Why would I like this character? I must admit I have a weakness for natural colored domesticated dog breeds. Donovan fits the bill. He is fluffy (bid plus), gorgous and handsome all rolled into one. He would have a place on my character site and thread, have gorgous art and have a loving home with my other characters.
Personality:
Donovan strives to be the centre of attention. He is a confident, laughing, and sometimes stubborn akita with an ever-growing circle of friends. He loves to be out about doing things, and rarely stops. Time alone and boringness results in feelings of stagnant and listlessness. He has a dire need for the spotlight and is always looking for adventure. Donovan can seem cocky and arrogant as well, which goes hand in hand with his want for attention. This cockyness leads him to be very competative and he is a control freak when he does not come out ontop.
Donovan's friends are important to him very much, and he loves bid crowds. He enjoys a good laugh with others, but the soppy sentimental types sometimes accuse him of being a little callous. He usually ignores those people. Donovan does not really care what they think about him, anyway, and it's not worth getting emotional over. He brushes them off with a sharp comment and really doesnt care.
Friends sometimes wonder what is under that extroverted, active exterior of Donovan's. He does not intend for them to find out. He feels very uncomfortable with emotional discussions, and friends are for fun, not for sharing feelings with.
In a few words, Donovan is outgoing, fun loving, and has a dislike of showing "real" emotions. He is likely to simply give you an unsympathetic kick in the butt when he thought you needed it. If you did want someone to talk with, however, he would be there.
History:
It was a cold and dreary night. A blizzard had shaken the whole state that night, driving everyone into the safety of their houses. You couldnt even see a paw infront of your face, or a hand in the human's cases. The temperature was unbareable; You could not stand more than a minute out in the blistering wind. All was silent except for the occassional whispers of wind that tore threw your pelt and shuffled your fur.
That was the night I was born. Me, Donovan. Born in the blizzard. My mother was sure my siblings and I were not even going to survive. My father was sure of it. This left my mother in tears, she told me later, and my father just shook his head in dismay. We were just five tiny little bundles of fur, snuggling to find the warmth of our mother's soft belly. Only two of us survived. My sister Clarisa and I. We were the only two to survive that winter. The winter that it was said nothing lived.
My small family traveled along the snowy banks of Alaska. That was our home. The summer's were sunny, though not for long. It seemed we were always shrouded in darkness. Though, the humans kept us safe along with the other dogs. Nothing could touch it, it seemed. We were a pack of canines living in the safety of a human's land. Nothing could touch us there. Except the cold, of course.
I hated the weather here. Why did it always have to snow? Why was it always cold? I hated it since I was a pup, born in that blizzard... It was never my friend.. Clarisa loved it, she was the favored one. Me, attention starved. She was the goodey little girl who everyone loved. I didnt mind that long, she was all I really had. Sure, mother was there. But father was always away with the other male dogs. He never really cared much.
All in all, my childhood was normal. Playing and eating, sleeping and running. Everything a pup should have. Except the love of a family. Well, occasionally I had that. It was normal, until one day... It was late in the evening, the whole canine pack was huddled together in the snow. I was squished aginst Clarisa, and she was biting my ear. Her habit to fall asleep. It was cute really. We were three years old, but mother insisted we stay. She wraped her tail around us and nestled in for sleep. That night the males were all talking together. Arguing. I didnt get the whole story. To this day I have never found it out. All I remember was the sharpness of my father's voice as he challenged the alpha. The sharp bark of pain that he gave when he was forced to submit. Clarisa was so shocked she had bit a hole in my ear. It is still there, the tiny little tear... A monument to what happened that day.. My father refused to submit, and the fight began. The whole pack watched in awe, five grown males taking on my father. One of them fell, until my father was almost beaten to death. He barely escaped with his life. WE barely escaped with out lives. The four of us, shunned to the snowy abyss of winter's breath. Four alone in the blizzard. Just like we started.
It wasnt long after we had left that father had passed away. His injuries were to severe to even have a chance. He lay there in the show, on that sunny day. My mother sobbing over his body. He had caughed up blood, so much blood... He died fighting for what he believed in. I had never loved my father, but for that one fact I have learned to respect him. I strive to have the devotion he had... My sister was not too far behind. She was the smallest of the five origional pups. She was frail in the coldness of winter. Her tiny bones too fragile to go on much father than a year. She died peacefully in her sleep, her tiny heart beating until the end. She died snuggled into my fur, and I heard the breath leave her lungs. I cried, I mourned more than my mother. Into the night I howled and howled, howled my sorrow for my lost sister. Then, it was just my mother and I. She was worn out by those two deaths, in one year.. She lived on a year after them before she eventually died of old age. I didnt mourn my mother. She didnt want me to. She kissed my cheek, and like that she was gone..
Now, it is just I. Alone and wandering the icy peaks of Alaska. Maybe there is another wild dog pack out there for me. Maybe I can find a family. Or even a human encampment. That would be nice... Maybe I will have a pack of my own, find love. I adventure alone. Hopefully, it will not be forever.

Best Memory;
"On one snowy summer's night, my sister awoke me early in the morning.. It had to have been about three A.M. I couldnt help but think, why would you ever wake me up at a time like this! I just want to go to sleep... But her begging didnt stop until I lugged myself out of bed to follow her. She took me atop a small hill near our home, and we sat side my side. Clarisa pointed with her muzzle to the sky; We both watched as tiny little specks of light flew across the sky. "Shooting stars.." she whispered contently. I couldnt help but smile.
Worst Memory;
"The worse memory? Why did you even have to ask me... The worst memory is when my sister, Clarisa, died, of course. At that moment, then was when I realized I was completely and utterly alone in this world..."
Age;
Six Years
Appearence;
Donovan is twenty inches tall, which is the tallest an Akita can grow to be normally. He weighs fourty six pounds of pure muscle, which is put to good use. He is athletic and energetic, which is useful in keeping his muscle mass up. Donovan has a double coat, the undercoat is a soft cream color while the overcoat is a mixture of bright oranges and browns.
The Finnish Spitz resembles a fox. The proper conformation is a square build, meaning that the length of the body is the same or slightly shorter than the height of the withers to the ground. The length of the body is measured from the point of the shoulder or forechest in front of the withers to the rump. Females are usually a little longer in the back than males. Both sexes should appear slightly longer in the leg than the back.
The Finnish Spitz has a typical double coat, which consists of a soft, dense undercoat and long, harsh guard hairs that can measure one to two inches (2.5 to 5 cm) long. The outer coat should not exceed 2.5 inches (64 mm) at the ruff. The coat should be stiffer, denser, and longer on the neck, back, back of thighs, and plume of the tail, shorter on the head and legs. Male dogs should sport a slightly longer and coarser coat than bitches, who have a slightly more refined coat.
The plume of the tail is important to the overall look of the dog but should not be too long. Feathered long tail hairs without sustenance can give the dog an unkempt look. Additionally, the tailset is important and the Finnish Spitz should be able to move its tail from one side to the other. Most Finnish Spitz have a preferred side and this is not incorrect.
