The bringer of night,
She rules the star filled skies,
The moon is her guardian,
Reflecting her ways,
Soothing the heat of day,
She lures them to bed,
During they're rest,
She protects them,
Once the lights of day creep out,
She vanishes,
Returning only to bring forth night again.

Oh wondrous daylight

Stars appear one by one

Ruler of golden light
Oh alicorn of olden lore
Please wake early tomorrow
