Just got done adding the beautiful revamps and donated babies and taking down the critters who got adopted. ♥ Thank you white . horse and wes for the awesome revamps! I have added a poll for whether or not you guys want a mascot. Currently we tentatively have one that was passed down with SLAP, but I just want to know if you guys want one period.

I'm hoping to really get people more involved and have things for everyone to participate in, even if you aren't adopting, so be sure to check back often! c;

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
She's quite a lovely girl, I would like her as one of the main characters In a story about all my characters. I would give her a lovely home and provide her with friends, art and being active. She would have a forever home & she & her adventures would be seen on my character page.
Personality:
Blu is the quite type, when she does say something it's usally inportant. She keeps her amotions locked up & most the time just showing them through her eyes, her eyes always give away her thoughts & emotions, although she is fine with it since most don't look her in the eyes, But thats all changes when she meets Caleb. After meeting Caleb she becomes more open (mainly with him) but its progess, She expresses her self more with body gestures & of course vocally.
History:
Blu was born in The Pyramid of Elci Valley; one of the harsher places in the valley. She was born to Hebrew the leader of one of the biggest Pyramid horse herd. Her mother had went with Wisp to the white woods after Blu was born. (Wisp is like an Angel that takes dieing, sickly or the elderly away to the white woods; which is like heaven). Blu grew up getting raised by her father, who always expected her to be a proper foal & that playing was for fools, atleast for his kids, they had a special duty to the herd & if they didn't meet their requirements he became very cross with they. Sadly Blu found this fait alot, her father cross & her feeling unloved.. Thats manily why she locked her emotions up for so long.
Story:
Blu looked around the clearing she was just outside of The Pyramid grazing, she had been there most the day enjoying the warmth of the sun, from where she stood she could see the White woods; where her mother roamed free & healthy. But on her other side she could she Predatory; the darkest place in Elci Valley where evil lerked & most meat eaters, although some are veggetarian they still are banished there because of their love for killing. Although it was Rare to see any creatures from Predatory they usally stayed in Predatory, Usally fedding on the weak of their own kind.

Blu glanced ahead looking over the valley deciding it was time to head back to the herd & the Pyramid, it was then that she heard the unmistakable trio growl of a Cerberus, she turned to face it only then did she discover it wasn't along two other wolves; not Cerberus', Stood on each side of the large Cerberus. Blu nearly froze but instigantly bolted away from them; The chase was on. Galloping faster & faster as they start to catch up, she finally became aware of where she was going, they had blocked the way back to the pyramid & also the white woods. She now knew this had been planned, she was trapped between Predatory & the swamp; that also held waterlike predators & muck that makes you sink to your stomach, She also had another option which she was running strait at Emmett Mountian range; possibly the steppest & dangerous mountains to climb up.

(Muhaha, i'm gonna make it a cliff hanger! if I get her you will find out what happens to her next C: Plus her story is like three pages long! )

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
I really like him, I love his general look he differently has swagg :3 and Blu wouldn't want to be without him, they make a great team. I would give him a home, friends, art, stories, and being active. He'd have a forever home in my character valley (page).
Personality:
Very shy often looked at as weak, he gets flustered easily & becomes nervous around people mainly because he hears almost every word they think (its usally negative). He's always inventing and working on projects, designing & whatever he can get in to. He spends alot of time to himself, he doesn't know anything about animal & isn't very good with them, but it all changes when he meets Blu. He also learns his animal communcation powers when meeting Blu.
History:
Caleb has always lived in upper Emmett of Elci Valley with his grandparents & Aunt; a small town surounded by mountain peeks. He's has always remembered living with his grandparents & knows very little about his parents or what happened to them. The only thing he has of his parents is his father's tie; the one he wore on his wedding day, It was also his mom's favorite tie of his fathers. This is why he wears the red tie everywhere, he likes to keep it close to him, its like his parents are always with him. He also learned about his telapath skills after putting on the tie for the first time, he started hearing peoples thoughts & things they only kept to themselves.
Story:
Caleb yawned as he began to accend down the stair of his grandparent's cabin house. His hair sharply sticking in every direction, he still wore his red stripped pj bottoms & a old white tee that was the most comfortable thing he owned, he also had his red snuggie which he wore backwards, he loved the feeling that his snuggie was like a super hero cape. Even though he was 17 he still enjoyed every little kid like thing, even saturday morning cartoons. Reaching the bottom of the steps Caleb moszed into the kitchen were he found is grandmother away at work with breakfast; Waffles! Walking to the window bench/table he plupped down and glazed out the window at his grandfather with a coffee cup in hand & Rusty; a older than dirt red coon hound, that was sprawled out on the porch passed out. Caleb was afraid of dogs even Rusty, he wasn't sure why but he had always feared them, luckly for him Rusty spent most his time asleep & usally kept to his grandfather. He smiled pulling himself away from the window to attend to a plate of strawberry waffles topped with a few gummy worms & a cup of hot lemon tea.

After breakfast and a few interesting conversations with his grandparents, Caleb decided to talk a walk in the woods that surounded the clearing where their cabin was, deciding that a climb up the Elci mountain range might be a fun adventure he headed to the top. Resting a few times he noted the senery he loved the mountains; mainly because it was bare people usally didn't come up here which made him glad, somethings being around a crowd made his day miserable exspecially since he could her every word they thought. After moments of rest he headed back up the mountain, almost at the top Caleb started hearing strong ununderstandable cries, the only thing he could make out of the nonsense was 'danger' & 'help'. Quickly looking around he tried to pin point the cries, he soon relized that he was hearing someone's thoughts. He was a bit alarmed by these cries that only he could hear but didn't know what was happening, but he froze when he heard the loud nicker of a horse, shaking it off he pinned the whinney just over the top of the moutain running as best as possible he peeked over the mountain top edge almost like a strait cliff down, he whatched as a horse figure gallop at the moutain with a wolf on her heels & a dog he had never seen before, strangely it had three heads. Caleb froze once again but this time his mind flashed back to maybe his earliest memory; his parents dealth. Caleb was looking down from the same cliff but this time he was an infinit his mother held him in her arms while his father helped her climb, down below stood the same three headed dog snarling & snapping its jaws, caleb watched as his mother set him down once she reached the top although she was still half way hanging over the edge.. Happening just as fast as she had set him down the cliff gave way with his parents, all he rembered after that was a glowing light. Snapping out of his flashback Caleb knew he had to help the horse.. know wonder he was afraid of dogs. (just a taste of the story C:)

Personality: He is very determined. Even though he looks sensitive, he's anything but that. Slater is very hard to offend and he is almost never openly vulnerable. No, he isn't cold or isolated, just a normal guy c:
History: Nothing special, had a good childhood and lived with his mother. His father left when he was 7 years old.

Why would you like this character? Daryl has been a resident of SLAP for 2 years as of this coming May. I know that I've posted a form for him in the past, but I was never actually able to find a reasonable amount of time to finish it, and the poor guy was left in the kennels without any attention again for a long time. I really do love him and his design, though, and I'm really hopeful to take him home this time. His design is really simple, but he brings more to the plate than what meets the eye. I really connect with him, even though I'm not all the biggest fan of canines with hair anymore (it used to be a big thing for me.) I really like him, though, and I'd love to make him a character.
What will you do for this character? I will draw Daryl a lot, because his design is very simple and easy to manage. Any time that I'm bored in history or math, I know exactly who I'll be doodling. xD I can already envision lots of pen drawings in the margins of my notes of Daryl gagging and crying and looking completely dead with boredom. x3 I also see him as a good model for my true, finished pieces, though. I think he'd be fun to draw in some pieces with my fursona, Wesley. I can see them as being really good potential friends. I might even contact MerryEaster to see if she'll consider allowing me to use Daryl as a fursona. Recently I've been searching for another fursona, and I've been really stuck on either Daryl or another character that I'm currently applying for. I will also use him for my random, pointless stories and I'll give him his own post on Chicken Smoothie and his own page on my character website. What a doll!

Personality: Daryl's not dark or mysterious like his appearance may lead you to believe. He just thinks a lot. So much so, in fact, that he over-thinks everything. And this makes his thoughts into worries, and his worries into realities. What's the problem with Daryl and his assumptions? He always expects the worst. Daryl has always been a very bright dog, but he's never actually been very positive. He's a strong pessimist, but he claims that he is a realist. The glass for him is always half empty. He always liked to be informed. If anyone around him is having a conversation and excluding him from it, he'll jump right in and ask what they're talking about because he gets really paranoid that they're talking about him. He likes to watch the news channel so that he could know what's going on internationally as well. He loves coffee!

Daryl is very particular. When something doesn't go his way, he doesn't adapt very well. He's also a really picky eater. He has the smallest preferences and throws the biggest fit whenever things don't meet his standard. He's a bit dramatic but it's simply because he is so hard-headed and funny about things. He has his own methods that no one ought to question.

Daryl stresses the small things, but he remains incredibly calm, perhaps even silly, in serious situations. In fact, when he gets scared, he laughs! Some people can't take Daryl seriously because they don't seem to believe that he takes important situations very seriously. He's often been yelled at for laughing when being scolded or laughing when his life is threatened, but what he's really trying to do is to scare the fear away. He doesn't think that what is happening is funny, he's just trying not to let himself get scared. If he turns things into a joke, he's a little bit further from the reality of a situation. He laughs away his fear subconsciously because it is such a strong habit that he doesn't even mean to do it any more.

Sometimes, Daryl prefers to be in control, while other times, he is very submissive and acts as a bystander. Usually Daryl is more of the leader type. However, he gets very flustered whenever he makes a mistake while in control, because others will never miss a chance to point out even the smallest faults that he has. He has a lot of insecurities, so he also has a hard time desiring to lead. However, because he's work-driven (though can be very lazy at times), he always gets the job done and is believed to be a good leader, though slightly bossy.

Especially after boarding school, Daryl is particularly reclusive. If someone asks him to play a game with them, go shopping with them, or even do something like take a walk or see a movie, he's quite likely to say no. He doesn't intend to offend anyone, but he doesn't particularly like hanging out with much of anyone. He's not very social because he gets very flustered quite easily and because the more he socializes, the more drama he risks running into, but if he's in a group of people with no way out, he opens up very well and can be very kind and talkative. In situations like at a school luncheon or dance or at some sort of party, he'll open himself to having a good time. Otherwise, though, if he's already alone when you approach him, he's likely to prefer to stay alone.

In all that he does, Daryl is very persistent and doesn't give up until he gets what he wants. Once Daryl puts his mind to something, he can't rest until he finishes this. I suppose that this persistence could be considered a good quality to have because he's never likely to give up before completing something, but it's actually quite stressful and overwhelming. Once he thinks of something that was left undone, he won't be able to think about anything else until he's done it. If he sets a goal for himself, if he doesn't make that goal, he'll feel like a complete failure and sink into a relatively serious state of depression because he expects so very much out of himself. When others challenge him, he gets the same way about it. It's a very serious problem that he has.

Daryl loves children! he's really good at working with them, because he knows just what interests them. He understands that kids love to talk, and he provides a great listening ear. It's really sweet to see a guy that is so easily able to work with kids.

Daryl gets really worked up about things that matter to him. When people threaten his happiness or invade his privacy, he tends to get really upset and blow up. His face turns completely red and he embarrasses himself in front of everyone by completely losing his cool and going off. Going off on people actually gives him a lot of adrenaline though, which is probably one of his biggest downfalls. He's definitely more than a tad bit too fiery and gets himself worked up over small things, but he's not quite to the state of having anger issues.

Daryl forgets nearly everything bad that has happened to him and every sin that he's committed, but he never forgets a critique. When someone says something harmful about him or criticizes his appearance, ability, or family, he'll never forget it. Even though he forgave them (it's not that he holds a grudge), he believes what they said and he takes it to heart so he does everything in his power to fix whatever it is about him that they didn't like.
History: Daryl was born by the sea in the southern US state of South Carolina. Growing up, the waves were his friends and the seagulls his entertainment. However, when you live by the beach, it's hard to find appropriate pleasure in it. In a simple family of three: Mom, Dad, and child - one can't always find the pleasures in life. As a boy of ten, eleven years old, Daryl was spending all of his time with younger boys, all whom he considered to be his younger brothers. Daryl tried every sport that your average boy ought to try: basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. But the only thing that really stuck for him was rugby, which he played day and night. Daryl spent an increasing number of hours at the field, and he even stayed for the younger boys' practice to assist the coach. Daryl found so much comfort in helping the other kids, that he began to talk to his parents about fostering. However, they weren't very open to the idea, and they mentioned that Daryl was "already a handful enough, and then some." Daryl was persistent, though, when a boy on the little league Rico was orphaned when his parents suffered a terrible accident. The young Costa Rican boy was able to speak clear English and Spanish, and Daryl thought that he could be the perfect older brother for Rico. After much coaxing, his parents finally gave in and called a few offices in order to see what sort of legal issues they'd be dealing with. Apparently, Rico's parents had died without having any will or godparents arranged for him. His only relatives lived back in Costa Rica, and only spoke Spanish. It was difficult for Children's Services to easily communicate with his countless cousins and his elderly grandparents. When asked what Rico wanted in a new home, he replied only with a smile and with Daryl in mind said in his sweet accent, "I would love to have a big brother." A few crash courses on adoption, fostering, and legality issues led Daryl's parents into adopting the young boy. Together, Daryl and Rico spent their time at the rugby fields, by the large swamps with bordering trees decorated with hanging Spanish moss, and at the beach working on their tan.

Daryl's life was threatened when going out for a swim alone in the cool ocean waters. A few too many kicks of the feet led him into water far too deep for him to stand in. He only found comfort on the raft on which he had come out. He called back to shore sheepishly when he realized that the stretch of water between him and the shore was nearly as extensive as the pier itself. Countless figures stood on the shore, looking clueless as to what to do. He began swimming back with struggle, diagonally to the shore, but it felt as though he couldn't swim against the current. Daryl was convinced that he was a goner, and was happy only that his parents could still have a son Rico when and if he died. Daryl began to laugh to himself to calm himself down. It was serious, but he wouldn't allow himself to panic. Just keep swimming, he thought to himself. When Daryl was only 10 yards from shore, Rico ran to meet him. He hugged him tightly, and Daryl offered to pull Rico into shore on the raft as his toes couldn't quite reach the sandy bottom of the ocean. Daryl stumbled out looking like a drunkard, clumsy and exhausted, and abruptly made his way home. Never again would he venture out further in the sea than nearly five feet. This incident had helped him develop a regretful fear of water, harsh on a Southern boy where the weather was always hot.

When Daryl was fourteen, Rico nine, he desired so much for a pet. While many of his friends spent their days together away from home, Daryl spent his time taking care of Rico. He longed for something to confide in and call his own. Daryl used the money that he had earned for helping with the rugby for the 6-8 year olds (for now that he could legally get paid, he was) to buy himself a pet lizard, but it died soon after and he gave up on pet shops. Instead, he decided to catch his own pet, a green lizard, and he named her Altie. Altie lost her tail when Daryl picked her up while capturing her, but it grew back, and he made up for it by giving her a large terrarium and live food daily. Daryl gave Rico money to buy his own pet, because he'd been eyeing Altie. He bought not one pet with the money, but instead he bought multiple fish and a large tank.

When Daryl turned fifteen, his parents agreed to send him to an all-boys boarding school for the remainder of his high school education. "Take me with you," Rico pleaded, but Daryl knew he couldn't. His life was about to reach its major turning point: constant, secluded studies in London, England, meant no more parents, pets, or Rico, and most sadly, no more rugby. His boarding school was pristine and strict. While at the boarding school, Daryl underwent some significant personality changes. His love of dirt, rough sports, children, and sunny weather turned to a love of school studies, security, the rainy days of England, and being alone. While some children rebelled against the properness of the school, Daryl embraced it. Most of all, Daryl felt left out, because his family wasn't rich like the other boys'. As the people around him grew more annoying, Daryl grew more reclusive. He began to come across as a bit hostile, but he never wanted to hurt anyone. He just wanted to be alone, and he didn't know how to break the news gently. Rain seemed to always keep him inside, and his great tan faded. In his spare time, Daryl drew sketches of the people he saw on the streets on London, sitting by the window as he drew. Any extra time was devoted to writing letters to home addressing Rico, Mom, and Dad and begging for pictures of his beloved lizard Altie and his younger brother. Holidays were spent at the school, because his family didn't have the finances to constantly ship him between South Carolina and London. After graduating at eighteen, Daryl was so different in both appearance and personality that his family hardly recognized him. Daryl agreed to come home awhile before going off to college, solely for the purpose of watching Rico, now thirteen, grow up among his friends. Now Daryl is preparing for college and cherishing the time he has with his family and pet before his childhood truly comes to an end.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I would love this character because I would love to give her a good home and to take care of her and give her attention, If I got her I would use her in as many good Horse Rps as I can! She is beautiful and would make a lovely addition to my home ^.^
Personality: This girl is loving and sweet, she loves just about anybody that comes her way. Though on a bad day her temper could be just as bad.
History: Stormy Wind was once a great show jumper, till she got hurt going over a jump one day. Though she is still ridable, she would never be able to enter into a show jumping ring ever again, which greatly saddened her, though that didn't mess with her happiness in having her loving owner by her side everyday.
