I think a title change is in order. Instead of Closed for Suggestions, write NOT TAKING ANY FREAKING SUGGESTIONS KTHXBYE.

xD just kidding. I think you should change the title to something like "Not Taking Suggestions," though, since Closed for Suggestions doesn't appear to be clear enough.

Yeah, but it is often the case. Even though I like many of the people in threads I regular, there are also people there I strongly dislike and dissagree with their opinions on things. But that is hard to see from the "outside" of the thread so to speak.

I really do see why people disslike my project, what I need is a way to fix it so it just won't fail. I like my project and I don't want it to gain a bad name. What matters is the present, and I hope people can see past my previous misstakes or those of my friends. The majority of my friends don't support the project anyway.

I think the problem is that some of the original Spread the Love people (from Maus's thread) managed to severely tarnish the image of the movement through their actions (e.g. being flaming hypocrites, ranting about CS being a horrible place, lecturing people all the time, jumping into random threads screaming 'SPREAD THE LOVE!!!', etc). That created a negative association with it for a lot of people, which unfortunately has carried over to the STL Puppies as the most visible symbol of Spread the Love, even though they're more of a separate project now. It can be hard to shake a bad reputation, but I think you're doing the right things to improve the project's image. ^^ So long as the people using the STL puppies follow by your rules, the project should gain a more positive association. If the STL puppies come to represent a certain standard of behaviour, they will gain greater respect on CS as people come to recognize that. :3

Anyone can use any of the free STL puppies in post two. You don't have to ask for them. Just pick a few you like.

And suggestions are closed, even the title of the thread says *NOT taking more suggestions*. And it's written in large colourfull text in the first post.
