The wind howled softly over the plains as the young male stood up at his mothers side. "Bailey, leader of the fire-grass plains" she murmured.

Bailey woke up, "Times have passed now mother, we are no longer in a paradise that you once knew. Humans have come, and many have found that they are their 'bonds'" he murmured softly into the gentle breeze. Indeed things have changed, many people had met a Rithicoan and the instant they met they could not get away, the pull being so strong that nether could deny it or even reject it. Bailey had yet to find his bond and was waiting eagerly for the time he met him or her.

Sammy was eager to get away, her first bond, Brandy, had stayed with her and she was glad, even though a bond could never leave. But Sammy also knew that all humans had two bonds, and she was waiting for her other bond to join her. Brandy was at her side as the two connected minds, although Brandy still could not communicate with words the feeling that she emmited spoke to Sammy.
