Tao grew up loving the world around him, always playful and full of wonder. From chasing the wind to laying and watching the stars this small pup always had a smile on his muzzle. He had a fairly easy life with his parents, wondering the frozen ices of his birthplace to the soft grasses of their summer home they were always protective and loving. As he grew, like many adolescent creatures, he craved life away from the family nest, to hunt and explore the land around him, to seek out new adventures and knowledge. One bright spring morning he left his loving mother and father behind, with a farewell lick to his mothers cheek he turned and bounded away, a new excitement in his eyes and his trademark happy grin still on his face.
He wondered alone for a year, finding many strange and wonderful things as he moved across hard earth, hot rock and fluffy snow. It would be at the end of that year when spring rolled round again when he would next see his own kind. Two of them in a meadow, a male and female, looking so at peace with the world together that he felt a tiny tug in his heart. He wanted a companion to travel with him, to share the sights sounds and smells that delighted him. He carried on along is way enjoying a rich warm summer as he did, finding a new land, across a large water. He still roams alone and perfectly content to be alone for now, just enjoying each day as it passes. Though he always has hope he will meet someone who will set his heart aflame with the same passion as he saw that day in the meadow.
