I don't have anything to be an artist, are the programs free to download though? Because then I could be one, I would love to be able to create merps. I think that they're just big enough to design freely on. I wouldn't mind being a mod though if the programs aren't free.

GIMP is what I always use, it can take a little bit to get used to, but I find it easy. And yes, GIMP is free, you can download it HERE. Once you get the hang of it, you can apply and I'll send you the bases to try it out

The directions for artists to color the bases:
-Copy the bases and save them
-Make a new layer above the bases
-Label that layer "Color"
-Set the Color layer to "Multiply"
-Now you can color the bases and it own't go out the lines

I just create the base then lock alpha. o-o; That's the easiest way for me. XD Then again, I use Photoshop. o-o;

I use Photoshop Elements 9 and I know how to use it very well. I'd be happy if I could just be a guest artist since it'd be hard with litters for here as well as 4b's, but this line art should be easy to color since it is so small.
