I intended too, but Join Me has been flashing "Connecting" for the last 30 mins, and I've given up on it. Your custom is half done right now, all thats left is the skeleton. So, hopefully I will finish that tomorrow.

A Celo with the universe as her pelt and stars as her eyes approaches the Tali, Zale.
"I am Rhea," she says nodding her head at him " I come with my companion to ask you join us." She then moves to one side and points a dainty paw with a pocket watch on it at me, "this is Coexist my companion." I step forward and give a half bow to Zale knowing that at this point he is probably looking at me very oddly. "I care for all creatures, but never do I own them for to own them would weaken their spirit." I say while looking strait at him, so he knows I'm being honest. Rhea is to one side of me and in the side of my eye I can see her nodding at Zale. Zale is a strong male as is name suggests, 'power of the sea' the gypsy's define it. looking at him from my position on the ground I admire his build, he was a fine Tali. My mind wandered, but what could I say to such a lovely male to convence him that I wished him to be of my family? What would make him come? I had no war, no glory, no mate to offer him. I looked up from my thoughts to see him looking at me as if to say, why are you thinking so hard? I answer even though he has said nothing, " I have little to offer a fine male like you, no glory, no mate, no nothing but a family" I said looking at him, a tear rolling down my cheek without me knowing it. "I am sure that you will have better offers, ones more suited to your needs." I said. Rhea looked at me, she knew that I had very little confidence in myself it was why she was there, it was what she was drawn to me for. She approached Zale, "Coexist herself may not have much to offer you straight from her hand, but her mind is full of ideas, inventions me and her other companions never know what is next in store for us from a story or a new character from her mind." Rhea said, Trust me it never gets old She said smiling huge. Rhea looked at me and I looked at Zale, "all I can do now is lay the question in your hands, will you come with me Zale?" I said looking at him. "If you will not I will leave." I said prepairing for the latter because of my confidence.

The Sivern turned around with a smirk on his face, "Oh? Am I forgiven? I'm grateful for your mercifulness, Vias." Farrow performed an exaggerated bow, his tail flicking high as he stood up and gave the beast a good look. "I'll only say it once. It's Farrow, King of the Siverns." With that, the Sivern gave a haughty huff and turned towards the hills, searching for a den to stay for the night. "You're mighty fine to make me bow like this." he chuckled, turning away to lead the pair away. For once, he'll have to search for a den that's two times his size. Oh creatures, born big and small. He had to choose one that's around his size.

His crimson eyes glanced at Vias, Not that I mind. The Sivern thought softly. Not that I mind.

"Admit it! You're lost!"
"NNNHHHHH! I am not lost. I just can't figure out which way is north!"
Aura rubbed her temples. She was sitting cross-legged with her eyes closed while the two other members of her crew bickered... as usual. Finally she opened her eyes and said in her quiet but stern voice "Stop this squabling. Fade, do you ,or do you not, have any idea where you are going?"
Fade bit his lip and looked around furtively in a last-ditch effort to figure out where he was. Finally he hung his head and muttered "...No..."
Vix pumped her fist in the air and cried "VICTORY!! I told you he'd get us lost! Fade, I believe you owe me five bucks!" She held her palm out towards Fade and looked at him in expectant glee.
Fade shot her a glare before grudgingly digging into his pocket to give her the money, as per their bet.
Aura sighed and gazed up at the soft grey tones of the overcast sky as if silently begging God for strength, but she couldn't help smiling, that was her crew for you and she loved them dearly, despite their tomfoolery. She stood up and quickly took stock of the situation. She took deep breaths of the crisp air and twitched her fingers in a rythmic way while she thought. "Right, so we're lost. Logic states that we should climb up that hill so we can have a good vantage point to see our surroundings."
"To the hill it is!" cried Fade with a mock military salute; glad he was no longer in charge of getting them out of there. He raced up the hill with the two girls close behind. At the top of the hill things didn't look much better. They were staring directly at an enormous cavern and in all other directions stretched great rolling hills covered in swaying waves of golden grass that stretched beyond the horizon, unbroken by any form of civilization.
Fade gave them a sheepish look "Well it could be worse..." he offered in apology.
As he spoke the sky gave forth a deafening boom and the heavens opened up, thouroughly soaking them in a matter of seconds. Vix glared at him; "You just had to say something, didn't you?"
Aura sighed again, this time in irritation at their luck. "Well, in the cave it is! Come, before Fade says something else and we get hit by lightning."Fade grinned a cheshire grin at Aura's joke before following her into the cave.
As they stood, dripping, just inside the entrance they heard what sounded like the low din of voices up ahead. Aura's brow furrowed in puzzlement and she nodded her head in the direction of the sound as an order for them to investigate. As one they silently stalked through the cave until they came to a place where several other people were standing around, and in the center of the crowd was a creature unlike any of them had ever seen. It was as large as horse with muscles rippling underneath a sleek teal coat that was speckled in gold along the neck. But the most striking of all were the eyes. It had bright, intelligent eyes like pinpricks of golden fire that shone out from under an eerie bone mask.
"What the heck is that!?" cried Fade, his wet hair hanging in short strands over his eyes, which had grown wide upon seeing the fantastic creature.
A stranger turned around and gave them a disgusted look. "You're new here aren't you?" he sneered. "That is a Tali. And it's name, if you were wondering, is Aether." He sounded like the last thing he wanted to be doing was giving an informational speech to a group of soaking teenagers.
Aura interjected before Vix could fire off a caustic retort or Fade could say... well anything. "Excuse me but we are new here. What is going on? Why is everyone crowded around that... Tali?"
The guy rolled his eyes as if answering questions was the bane of his existence, "We are wooing it so that it can join us on our adventures. Now leave me alone: go bug somebody else." With that he strolled off to try and impress the creature.
"Hehe; woo. Its a funny word." said Fade, unable to resist saying the word himself. Vix groaned in exasperation at Fade and his eight-year old sense of humor. Fade's eyes suddenly lit up "Hey wait we should try and woo it! It would be soooooo cool! Can we, huh? Can we Aura?!"
Aura shook her head. "Fade it is not a puppy. It is a sentient being, it would be a full member of the crew."
Fade's enthusiasm wasn't dampened "I know that! That's what I mean! I would be so cool to have somebody new around to talk to and to hang out with!"
Vix sighed and said "I hate to say it but I agree with Fade... It would be cool to have somebody else around... you know to also be witness to Fade's irritating habits. Plus if that charming gentleman was our worst competition, we'd definitly kick butt."
Aura closed her and thought about it for a bit, her fingers twitching again in the way that had become an odd habit. Finally she opened them with a smile and said: "Let's go for it." Fade jumped up in victory and shouted "YESS!!! This is gonna be so awesome! Dude! We can finally play team games like capture the flag, and soccer, and basketball and---" Aura shook her head, her eyes flashing in amusement, and cut him off: "Come on: lets go."
Together they walked over to the Tali (well in Fade's case practically skipped due to his uncontained excitement). Aura dipped her head in a small nod of respect at the stately Tali. "Hello, Aether, my name is Aura. This is my crew: Fade... and over here: Vix. We are new to this whole idea of wooing so I am not sure if it is costumary to offer up some sort of monetary amount. If that is the case, then I am sorry, but I cannot offer you gold or silver, or any sort of luxurious lifestyle. All that I can offer you is a humble place in my crew." Aura paused, noticing that Fade had begun to shift from foot to foot in barely contained enthusiasm. She sighed in a way that gave the impression that she was about to regret her next words. "Fade, I can see you would like to interject. Go on, give your spiel, before you explode..."
Fade burst into a wide grin and took a deep breath. Vix groaned, Here we go... she thought.
"So hi! I'm Fade" he began, his words bursting forth in an unrestrained gush, "And it would be so cool for you to join our crew! I mean our crew's just awesome: we've got Aura who's, like, a genius, Vix is, like, the worlds best medic, and I'm the tech specialist, I don't know if you like tech but I like tech, computers, phones, toasters, Dude! there are so many sick things you can do with just a toaster and the parts from a flashlight, its not even funny! But if you joined our team it would be awesome, we would play tag, and capture the flag..." Suddenly he paused and sucked in a breath (probably the first breath since starting his speach) and his eyes glowed with excitment. "I CAN TEACH YOU TO SKATE!!!" With that he ripped his skateboard from where it was strapped to his backpack and got on it. He did some small jumps and tricks while he continued "Dude! I can do a double kickflip and a darkside grind and all sorts of other stuff and I bet I could teach you---I mean you'd have to get a custom board, but it would be so frickin' awesome! Or you know if you like books and stuff we're cool with that too. I mean, we just read that Huck Finn one and that short story... the uh, uh, Open Boat! Or if you like math and science, well, Aura's like the frickin' master in all things like that! Or if you like botany and, like, plants and the environment; Vix is like the man! Er, woman! Or if you like mediciney stuff she's awesome at that too! And I think you'd be perfect in our crew; I mean just look at your name: Aether. That's so cool! It means... Er... Aura what's it mean?"
Aura had been standing watching Fade go on with a smile on her face, while Vix held her hand to her mouth, desperatly trying to cover her own smile and regain her mask of irritation at Fade and his antics. Aura cleared her throat "Aether was one of the greek gods. He was the god of the bright, glowing upper air of heaven which envelopped mountains." She gave a nod to the bright blue of his coat like the sky and the very bottoms of his feet and tail which had a pebbly appearance, like they were the very tops of mountains.
Fade's smile grew "See! Aura even knows where you name comes from! Its like fate or something! Dude! You gotta join our crew! Vix! Anything to add?" He asked suddenly, knowing Aura would want the last words.
Vix quickly regained her composer and looked Aether dead in the eye. She held up her hands in a praying fashion and said "Please, if you don't come with us, can I at least come with you? I don't know how much more of..." she waved her hands in an exasperated motion at Fade "...That I can take!" Fade grinned like he'd just recieved the compliment of the century. She looked at the goofy grin on his face and this time Vix didn't even try to hide her smile.
Aura smiled too and she turned to Aether and said "Oh sure, we may got on one anothers nerves but c'est la vie! That's what being a family is: a crapload of arguments and the overwhelming urge to punch someone in the face... but also knowing that at the end of the day you have people who care about you, no matter what." She said the last part softly, almost reverently. She continued on in the same soft voice: "We may not be siblings in blood, but we definetly are in bond, and if you would like to join our crazy little crew, know that we'll always have your back. Like I said, I can't offer gold, but I can offer something I feel is much more rare and priceless: a family that is loyal and will go to the ends of the earth for one another. What Fade offered was only a small part of the deal, there is so much more that cannot be put into words."
She smiled warmly at Aether "Good luck, I know it must be hard to decide after only getting a few minutes worth of insight on the people you might spend the rest of your life with." She gave him another nod and turned around, giving a signal for her crew to follow.
Vix gave Aether a small smile and wave before following Aura. Fade grinned widely and said cheerfully "Catch ya on the flipside!" before getting on his board and racing off after the two girls calling "Hey! Wait up!"
Vix shot back without hesitation "Yeah, wait up Aura! We'd hate for Fade to get lost! We all know how good he is at that!"

Was amazed.

But I have a question: when applying for a Tali, I have seen some parts of the form described how they where. . . created, I suppose is the word. Where within the blackness flecks of light danced, and the Tali came into being. Are those predetermined by a member of the staff, or do the people applying write them?

Tali come from a void towards the back of the cavern, so that's what the flashes of color are describing. If an introduction is not given, the people applying can come up with their own entrance, since not all Tali come from the void in the same way.
