Will you be giving them a nickname? If so, what is it?
I just love his name, no need for a nickname.

Monty for the Woo}}
I didn't think trees got so dense in the jungle.
Monty sighed, grumbling as we dodged and ducked our way along. "Are we there yet?" He moaned and complained, almost running into the tightly packed trees for the umpteenth time. I raised an eyebrow and stared at him. He frowned and did the same. Life was always like this, us fighting. Monty was growing bored and needed someone new to get to know. Meanwhile, I had heard of the Syhran, and decided to try my own luck with one.
"Monty, we're almost there. Stop complaining" I muttered at him. He shot me a glare and picked his way across the long, thick roots that covered the jungle floor. "I doubt these 'Syhran' even exist, you know." He grumbled. it was my turn to glare. We continued along in silence, my hope of meeting these creatures dwindling by the second. Perhaps Monty was right? What if these majestic Syhran really didn't exist? I began having second thoughts, when I stepped out of the forest and into a great clearing, where to my disbelief and utter amazement, sat a group of Syhran.
"Ha Monty, they do exist! How do ya like them apples?" I taunted my pal. He was more shocked than I was. We stood in a large clearing, most likely near the center of the forest. Medium-height, perfectly green grass grew and prospered in the sunny area, and Monty got into his modes again. He flattened an ear against the ground and listened. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the Syhran. They were simply gorgeous, with large, powerful muscles set into gracefully feline-like bodies. I yearned to stroke their downy-looking fur, but stayed a bit away, choosing to survey instead of bother.
I eyed each Syhran carefully, searching out every aspect of them and taking in all the beauty before me. One of the creatures had long, smooth horns twisting back from his head like a gazelle. The body was yellowish, with black speckles and other glorified colors. I was awed by the sight. Another one had tall, deer-like antlers and a shaggy brown coat. My eyes popped at it's beauty, and I stared, overwhelmed. I could swear the Syhran were sort of creeped out by my mesmerized staring, but I can't tell for sure.
As I looked back and forth between the two creatures, Monty tugged on my sleeve. "What is it Monty?" I muttered, still watching the Syhran. "Did you see the third one?" He asked. "Third one?" I replied, turning my head. Then, I spotted the Syhran. My jaw dropped in amazement.
The Syhran was beautiful. I was awestruck. Unlike the other two, this one didn't have horns like a gazelle's or a deer's. It had no horns at all. Bright oranges and white mixed together to form patches of orange against a white base, all across the Syhran's body. It's eyes were beautiful and light blue, as well as the "light" orb on it's tail. The feline stood there, seeming to wait. I wasn't entirely sure.
A different Syhran trotted up to me while I marveled. He was tannish, sort of like a mountain lion, with bluish spots along him and brilliant blue eyes. I hardly noticed his arrival until he cleared his throat. "The Syhran you watch is known as Sifiron." He said calmly. I nodded, and he padded off without another word. I gulped and whistled, getting Monty's attention. He trotted over, curious as to what I wanted. I kneeled down to Monty. "Let's go ask Sifiron if he will take us as a partner for travelling far and wide." I said excitedly. Monty shrugged and started to trot off. I snatched him up and carted him towards the Syhran. Sifiron turned to watch, but did nothing more.
"Greetings. I hear you are Sifiron. Like many of the others, I believe you are looking for someone as a travelling partner? To view the world with?"
No reply. Sifiron just looked, although he seemed somewhat pleased at the attention I gave him.
"I am Festus, and this is Monty, my dog. We would gladly accept your aid and guidance as we set out to adventure across the land. We have come here to the jungle from very far away already, proofing our love of travel and our eagerness to adventure. You seem to me, a smart, cunning and beautiful Syhran who would take nicely to travelling with me."
Monty muttered about not liking to walk. I kneed him and continued trying to woo the Syhran, who I swear smiled at my praise to him.
"I may not be able to do the most for you, nor give you everything you want, but I would greatly enjoy your company and protection in exchange for my companionship."
I bowed as a last addition to the Woo. My whole body shivered with excitement. I walked off, and Monty followed. Leaning against a tree, I watched as others attempted to Woo the creatures. I was never going to make it with all the competition, but it was nice to have given it a shot.
