So yesterday I got a bunch of writing inspiration, but not for my nano story. So I started a new thing. I have no idea what's going on so far, I've barely planned anything, but it involves the end of the world and zeppelins.
What was the last line you wrote before coming online? (If you actually wrote anything lately!)"Getting inside the ship sounds great right now, but it's taking most of my focus to simply hold on, there's no way I could adjust my knots to be able to move."

@Wild- Ooh I really like that. If you write more, I'd love to read it!
I wrote the next chapter of New Blood! It's not nano, but at least I'm writing haha. I also have another idea for a superhero story (not the one I wrote a while back) and it's super hard to come up with creative powers/abilities. Everything's already been done it seems.
Superpowers are hard. In my opinion, there's two (and a half) good ways to go about them:
1) Something entirely new. Just make up a power nobody's ever used before. This is generally pretty difficult to do, and leads to some very weird powers. However, if you succeed at it, this can be really, really, awesome.
2a) Oldies are goodies... Sometimes, it's easier to just use simple common powers. This is good for more character-driven stuff, as it takes a lot more time to explain an original power than it does to just say 'super-speed' or 'empathy.'
2b) ...With a twist It can be even more fun to take a traditional power, and change it just a little to make something new and interesting, but not too weird. (Example: A character has the ability to turn invisible - but they're naturally invisible and have to focus to be seen)
