Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Show Name: AH Action Indeed
Barn Name: Apache
Gender: Stallion
Age: 7
Height: 17.2 hh
Halter: Purple to indigo gradient, silver hardware
Discipline: Show jumping
Competition:
Apache was purchased after racing by a different stable over than Amber Hollow. He was wild and seemingly unrideable at the time, so they released him into a large paddock to let him get it all out for a whole week, which worked pretty well. Apache was then sent into jumping training, and everything went well. A few years passed, and he was a pretty good jumper, but it was not enough. His owners began to rap his legs with a bamboo stick to have him jump higher. Out of fear of hitting a rail (what he thought it was), he jumped higher every time. This went on until he was sold to Amber Hollow.
His past owners were never found out, and his new owners took care of him. They calmed him when he became stressed, and had him jump lower jumps for a while to start again. He has started to rebuild slowly, and he is doing well. But sometimes when he is jumping, he remembers what happened to him with his past owners. Since, Apache was and never will be the same. But he is doing well regrowing in show jumping, and is expected to do well in the future.

Show Name: The White Hawk
Barn Name:Griffith
Gender: Stallion
Age:8 years 5 months
Height:17hh
Halter:could it be like
xXx but with cream for the zig zag, light brown on the top triangles and darker brown on the bottom (all on the noseband)
Discipline: Mounted Archery
Competition:in short, owls.
Those darn pesky Owls are keep him up at night.
He is stalled in quite a rural stable in the countryside, and is connected to a large forested area. The reason owls keep him up in night is because of their hooting, he can hear them from outside of his stall and they frighten him, he believes it to be ghosts or some other kind of wailing horse spirits, and stays up all night to guard the other horses of the stable in a way, to keep an eye out in case those mysterious ghosts come and attack. He is always a bit grumpy and groggy in the morning and doses off in the paddock, safe and far away from those scary noises of the woods...

Show Name: Minute Man
Barn Name: Pio
Gender: Stallion
Age: 8 years
Height: 17hh
Halter: Light blue with Gold buckles
Discipline: Cross Country
Competition:
Pio's eye jerker is something a lot of horses and people can relate to, stress. Pio is left to stand in his stall every night trying to fall asleep but instead finds himself thinking of what had happened throughout the day, what will happen tomorrow, could he have done the last competition better and so on.. Honestly Pio just cares so much about what he has to do, how he has to act, what he does to others that the stress of not having a game plan weighs on him at night... Maybe he needs a spa day..or ten.

Barn Name: Jack Jack
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4 Years
Height: 15.2 hh
Halter: Muted Silvery Leather Brown
Discipline: Trail
Competition:
The think that keeps Jack up the most, is the stables cattle. He used to be a cattle drive stallion, just your regular ole' ranch hand, but a year and a half of driving cattle will make you see a few things.
His most terrifying incident, would have to be when a small calf strayed off trail and away from his mother. Jack and his rider decided to go rescue the small, clueless calf, however, his mother ( who was one of those scary ones with horns shockingly ) sensed something was wrong, and followed Jack and his rider to find her lost calf. Once found, Jack's rider decided to rope and carry the small calf back to the herd. This however, upset the trailing mother, so she began to charge Jack and scare him greatly, leaving the impression that all cows are aggressive.

Show Name: The Black Sheep
Barn Name: Lou
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4 years
Height: 16hh
Halter: Charcoal maybe?
Discipline: Companion & Liberty horse
Competition:
It was a farming accident.
Lou grew up on a small sheep farm far south of Sullen Stream Stable. He was always a timid colt, but never fearful. He enjoyed the work he was asked to do; as he grew into his adolescent years, he was rapidly becoming a star prospect for the farm’s ongoing herding horse program. Lou was out in the field younger than most. He wasn’t the most in tune with the sheep, but he was certainly excellent for such an inexperienced horse.
The scene was mud and beating, needle-sharp pellets of rain and hail. Lou and a few others were out rounding the sheep when it happened. A slip of his hoof, the slick of the mud, and a misplaced lamb made for an experience that would haunt the rest of Lou’s waking nights. After the accident, Lou simply wasn’t the same horse. He was sold off to a new owner with the order that he was never to be around livestock again. His timidity morphed into outright fear, and it would be a long, long time before he would be able to live with himself.
