Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Frost is quite a nervous and shy mare, she usually stands and grazes alone in the paddock. She is a peaceful mare who never causes any trouble and even though the other eerps she grew up with were mean and bullied her, biting her neck due to the lack of her mane, she is still watchful over her herd members and keeps an eye on things. She is always happy to help despite being soft spoken and absolutely loves taking care of foals, she has been seen on many occasions guiding foals back to the center of the herd or stomping her hooves at dogs beyond the fence, putting herself between them and the foals. She is shy of touch and loud noises, usually shying away from such overstimulation.

Competition: Rhiannon is kind of witchy, you could say. She likes peace and quiet, but also enjoys the company of others. She enjoys practicing reiki and yoga and has crystals in macrame everywhere. She has tons of different colored candles and herbs for different purposes. She's got all the moon water anyone could ever want.
She's a little chaotic and disorganized; a hot mess, if you will.
She enjoys long walks in nature; you can commonly find her on trails or climbing mountains. She can be extremely bubbly and talkative and easily makes friends because of this. She likes natural remedies and healthy things. She also is very intelligent. If she has a question, she'll look it up in a book and read everything she can on it, obsessively. She knows a lot of random, but helpful things.
She takes a lot of midnight strolls on nights she can't sleep, which happens to be more often than not. She's great with advice.
Rhiannon however, in the sense of her love life is slightly confused. She doesn't know what she wants, so she can never commit herself fully.
She is quite similar with projects. She despises starting something she cannot finish, but sometimes it happens. Unless she knows precisely what she's doing, she tends to stray away from new projects.
Rhiannon does not think of herself as motherly. At all. She doesn't want foals of her own. Yet.
Especially since she hasn't full sorted herself out. However, she adores foals. She will never say no to playing. She loves teaching and taking the time to spend with them all. She loves getting to know them and figuring out what their likes and dislikes are. What they enjoy doing. What they want to do with their future. She loves hearing them talk about it all.
She enjoys life. She lives every day for itself and tries not to take anything for granted. But nobody is perfect and she remembers that too.

Pacific is a very moody mare, yet a good one, nonetheless. When she is good, she is very sweet. When she is bad, you usually can not tell she is until you find your coffee spilled over. She is normally rather sweet though, behaving when her owner is around. Pacific tends to become anxious in the arena if it is cool out and she is alone with her owner. She enjoys music, though, and it helps her calm down. Most of her favorite songs are by Surfaces. They are positive and upbeat, which Pacific enjoys. If Pacific is not behaving well, or not in a good mood, it is hard to tell. She sometimes knocks over things or shreds them, sometimes trampling them. Pacific has costed her owner too many coffees and a few saddle pads. Even though she can be a little demon sometimes, her owners do not care. She has a lot of personality.


Once, Pacific was in a very good mood. She was scheduled to be hacked that day. Her owner tacked her up and rode her down to the arena. She turned on some music and Pacific lifted her head and lip and lifted her front legs excitedly. Her owner laughed watching Pacific 'dance' beneath her. Pacific loves music, even though it is a common thing for people and animals to enjoy, she still likes it. This also plays into her doing dressage, how she 'dances' to the rhythm of the song. She and her owner both love music, and will dance together until they physically can not.

being imported all the way from a thoroughbred breeding project from the big apple state of new york, aminiah only needs the highest maintenance a thoroughbred could need. She is a rather propper and serious mare, who will not take any rough housing or any problematic horses, especially other mares.
Being from the breeding project wasn’t necessarily all fun and games, she was taken from her mother and and was forced to wean away from her at an early age. Because of this, she doesn’t enjoy men all that much either, seeing as the men of the project were the ones who forced her away from her mother. She wasn’t necessarily a desirable foal either, seeing as she was not only a roan, but a bald filly. The breeding project specialized in solid coat colors, such as black, chesnut, blood bays, and the occasional dominant whites, with long luxurious manes and tails. She was an abomination in the eyes of her breeder, so she was cast aside rather quickly. One of the ranch hands noticed what the breeder had done however, and took favor to her. He housed her in one of the nicest stalls and pampered her rather well, giving her only the best feed, the best grooming, and the best and warmest housing available.
Aminiah wasn’t let out much for fear of other horses and other ranch hands treating her unfairly, so because of this Aminiah isn’t a very social mare, but for the lucky ones she has allowed into her life, she loves them dearly and holds them rather closely. And because of the ranch hand who showed her such kindness, she feels she owes humans who show her undeniable love the need to protect and serve fairly.
Because of Aminiah’s mistreatment in her early years, Aminiah bonds with young foals rather easy, seeing as she doesn’t want other foals going through the same hurt she did. She is the mother figure of Brook Haven, mothering any abandoned foals as if she was her own.
Aminiah is a very hard driven mare these days, putting all her effort into her discipline as well as her training. Once she was introduced into the western scene after her retirement from training as a race horse (mind you it was only a few months of training until slight injury in her hind leg) she absolutely fell in love. Compared to the racing scene, western pleasure is so much more laid back and calmer, something she absolutely loves, and because of that she strives to do her best.

Though the ones who love her call her Blue, the ones who have known her before the change of heart called her Dagger for a reason. Blue was brought over from a racing facility that definitely represented the often poor side of racing. She was talented, she was fast, but oh was she an anger filled mare. And not like your typical hormonal mare who nips at a gelding, Blue was used and abused during her racing time, eventually bringing her to a point where she became too aggressive to handle. I'm talking like the most predatory type mare you've ever seen. Come near the corral? You're going to need stitches after her bite. Didn't matter who you were or what you were there for, Blue was going to make sure you regretted coming into the same vicinity as her. Therefore, her old owners shipped her off to who knows where. They didn't care anymore, she was too much of a "pain" to ride in races, leaving her monetarily useless. That's when we brought Blue onto our side. We saved her from potential kill-buyers and brought her back to our humble ranch. Through lots of natural horsemanship and plenty of time and patience, we've gotten Blue to unlock even more potential in the Hunter Jumper Arena. Now Blue is no longer an aggressive mare, but instead one that knows what she wants and doesn't necessarily enjoy a poor rider. However, if your intentions are good, she'll work with you. Blue is now one of the first mares to come running in from the field and see people. Her change of heart has been for the better.
