Prompt: [Click For Tidal's POV]
With his odd adoration for other winged creatures, Tidal has always been partial to a nomadic lifestyle of following various flocks of birds along the atlantic flyway, a migrational path leading from the upper east coast of the US down to Florida. However there is one spot along this long route that has always held a special place in Tidal's heart, in which he spends as much time as possible before continuing on his annual journey. Known to humans as the 'Graffiti Highway', this long stretch of abandoned road sits between the trees through the middle of the now abandoned coal-mining town called Centralia. A popular place for artists to visit while in the Pennsylvania mountains, this highway is one of the few remaining markers of the tragic mine fires in the 1990s. To this day, the partially collapsed mining tunnels just below the surface are still burning, causing sinkholes to swallow the rocky forest floor and gas pockets to pour ribbons of fog over the roadways and mountain sides. The sight of this spot from above is jaw-dropping, and Tidal is always taken aback by its ever changing beauty. He spends days walking the stretch of road back and forth, feeling such joy in seeing all the new paintings and writings every year.
