Simas are generally social mammals with average length fur and bright hearts.
Their body's skeletal structure matches one of a cat with its flexible spine and typically
lithe body frame, while the skull and paws resemble ancient canines such as a wolf- an
indicator of hybrid genes. Their fur is more abundant around their chest and neck and the
fur becomes more coarse as it reaches their tail, from abundant at the base to more coarse
until it's pure, soft velvet when it just reaches the jewel guard itself. Their jewel
acts as a weapon for self-defense as well as the guard, sharp against opponents and the
jewel is frequently kept clean for courtship and using their powers to their utmost
potential.

[Story] Liberty was cursed with the markings of an eldritch beast as a pup, as she grew the markings spread more and more making her mind and soul corrupt. She was outcasted to prevent possible spread of the curse, she’s been on her own for years due to this. She still has some sanity and control over her mind but she’s plagued with thoughts in an untranslatable eldritch tongue. She happened to cross paths with a servant of a divine being, who tried to help her by painting her fur in the holy ink. The being growing within her screamed in pain and lashed out at the servant causing the ink to splash all over her. Shocked and not wanting to cause further harm she ran as fast as she could, partly dyed in holy ink she could feel her mind clearing, not completely but the voice of the creature was silenced. She can finally use her powers, though she has much to learn. She is not cured and will never be cured unless she is fully covered in the ink.

(I really hope I can get this girl this design is dope as heck!!)

Making a deal with a demon is never a good idea. Of course, at the time, Eden didn't think it'd be too bad, really, he'd just needed money for a new speeder, and when the eyeless, dark furred sima came up promising him way more then enough money to buy what he needed and more in exchange to go and get some sort of dagger from a local museum. Sure, it was creepy, but the money was worth it. Eden was taking a stroll, taking in the sights and sounds of the city.

It all started late one afternoon, when a soft-hearted animal fanatic wound up visiting a new restaurant with a couple of close friends. At first, all seemed to be going well - the place looked great, smelled great, and had a wide variety of vegan options for her to sample (she WILL eats eggs and dairy products from time to time, but only if they're certified cruelty free). So, blissfully unaware, the girl ordered her food and spent many happy minutes chatting away with her gal-pals. Then... nature called. So, as one is wont to do in these situations, she politely excused herself from the table. It was only on the way BACK that things began to hit the fan. You see, her path led her into a section of the restaurant near the kitchens, a section she hadn't been able to see from the door, or from her table. And there, in this previously unexplored place, she spied a fish tank. It was quite a small one for such a grand restaurant. Nevertheless, being the person she was, it piqued her interest. So she made a small detour to investigate. As she drew closer she was able see that the tank, which was actually set into the wall, was empty save for one living thing - a small octopus. Immediately a smile broke out on her face and she bent over slightly so as to get a better view of the creature. When she'd been a child, Octopuses and their like had given her the willies - but these days she rather liked them. To see one being kept in a public place for all to admire was quite neat!

The sound of someone softly clearing their throat brought her back to the here-and-now. She looked up, to find a waiter standing a few feet behind her.
"Can I help the madam?" He inquired politely.
She smiled brightly and explained that no, he couldn't. She was just admiring the octopus.
Now it was the waiter's turn to smile. "Ahh, yes! The octopus! Would Madam like to have it?" Needless to say, the girl was quite taken aback. It apparently showed on her face, too, because the waiter chuckled slightly and clarified: "She would have to pay of course, but our prices are quite reasonable..."
Numbly, the vegan lover of animals watched as he pulled a menu from the big pocket on his apron and popped it open, pointing to a listing in the 'seafood' section as he did so. She could practically feel the octopuses' eyes drilling into her back.
"... Wouldn't you say, Madam?"
Returning to reality for the second time in as many minutes, the girl begged the waiter's pardon.
"I said, not a bad price for such fresh Takoyaki, eh?"
She forced a smile and agreed, making up her mind then and there. She could all too vividly imagine the octopus she'd been admiring just a moment ago being boiled alive and sliced into tiny bits for someone's dinner. It made her want to puke.
"So will Madam be having the octopus?"
The yes was barely out of her mouth before the waiter turned to go. "Splendid! At which table is Madam sitting? I'll have it sent right out!"
He was brought up short, however, by the girl's hand on his shoulder
A few moments later, the friendly waiter departed with an extremely confused expression on his face while the girl returned to her table smiling so broadly that her friends couldn't help but ask.

When they left the restaurant that night, the girl was carrying a five-gallon bucket. And inside... inside was the octopus. Things would never be the same!

These days, Diane and the Octopus have a very strange relationship. The octopus, which has been named Ludvwig, behaves very much like a cranky old cat. He is particular about things and set in his ways. He is very much the ruler of the roost! Diane, meanwhile, has been very busy reading up on how to care for an octopus properly and adores her new pet with all her heart. Even if he sometimes clambers out of his tank at three AM and pulls everything out of her desk, or inks on her computer, or turns on the TV to watch 'Blue Planet".

Diane will never forget the time she had to take everything out of Ludvwig's tank and scrub it thoroughly in order to get rid of an algal bloom. The octopus objected strongly to having his life rearranged...
