Scrambling near the rocky cliff edge after a tiny gecko. The tip of the scaly tail was in reaching distance. Until the small creature took a dash to the left, disappearing down a crack in between some rocks. It had seemed to have enough of the game of “tag” and took the fast exit out. Leaving Lincoln squishing his head into every nook and cranny, he could possibly find in the rocks.

Ode was not technically born by the road, unlike his name suggests;
A pup found by the roadside Ode was christened with such a name when he had been discovered stumbling across the asphalt roads in the blazing sun. The people who found him panicked and thought he would not be able to make it, as he had been severely weakened by the uprising in temperature due to climate change. What was once a hot plain was made even hotter when man paved their roads and cut down trees in the way to build their civilizations- and Ode had experienced it firsthand.
After his battle with the heat of his environment, he has always looked forward to the cool nights in the plains. Ode was grateful to have been rescued and brought to where he resides now, amongst others of his kind. But the best thing about the place he lives in now are the chilly nights in the grasslands, where everything is at peace for the most part, and the glare of the sun in the sky is replaced by the gentler twinkling of other stars, dancing across dark canvas. Ode definitely thinks that the colder nights is better than the harsh heat of the daytime, and he believes he is very lucky to be able to witness the beauty of the night in the plains.
