Prompt:

Ashwhisper knows that blooms of daisies are her sign of good luck. When she finds one by itself, she knows that her day is going to be good, if she finds a cluster of them, that many days are going to be good. She quickly dismisses any cat that tells her that she is having a good day because that is how she is viewing everything, stating that she doesn’t want their bad feelings affecting her own good ones so harshly.

The former loner would hardly see the flowers on the farm she grew up on. Sometimes they would appear in the twoleg female’s plant collection that she tended to every day, but they were quickly ripped up and taken from the garden sometimes making her day go from bad to worse. It wasn’t until she was on top of the twoleg house that she saw a field seemingly full of them and decided to make her way to the area, hoping to live her days in happiness and good luck.

crowfrost's lucky thing is when there's a crow. crows have been special to him since he was a small kit because they saved him - don't ask how, he doesn't know. whenever there's a crow perched up in a tree, he catches a plump rabbit, or he successfully trades with the bees. if there's a crow when there's frost on the ground it's even more lucky. once he finally got fawnshine's attention and, what do you know, there was a crow in a tree and frost on the ground.

Nightpaw thinks of squirrels as lucky. Or at least, he feels like he has better luck when he catches them. You see, squirrels are Swanpaw's favorite thing to eat, and she always pays attention to him when he brings a squirrel back to camp. Sometimes, when he gets one that's big enough, she'll share it with him! That's why Nightpaw always looks for squirrels when he's out hunting- he hopes he can get a little extra luck in getting his crush's attention.

Ducks.

Typically Mallards, with their green-headed males and brown-winged females, but any duck will do.

Why?

Because her mother would never stop calling Hiddensun her “lucky duck” for being the only girl in the litter, and the only girl to have her father’s eyes. Though she hated the nickname as an embarrassed and awkward apprentice, she quickly came to love watching the ducks.

Now, whenever she spots one of the water birds, she will quietly watch it quack and waddle about. Apart from when prey is scarce, of course. No amount of personal enjoyment comes above the clan’s hunger, not even her lucky ducks.

Although, they do become her lucky ducks in a way...

It’s these little things that Hiddensun often silently thinks about, whilst watching the birds gander about the river.

Prompt:

Violet doesn't like to admit she believes in any such thing as luck. She sees it as superstition - and yet, she does have one, even if she doesn't want to admit it.

She feels it is unlucky to step beyond the border of her new home.

Since she joined- she's say since the moment she stepped into Fernglade's borders- she has felt so much peace. True there is still stress- life cannot exist without stress and pain it seems- but she doesn't live afraid and helpless like she used to. Being an older cat she spent most of her years like this, and finally feeling secure somewhere is something she never wants to give up again.

So- she won't step beyond the border. The lands of Fernglade are 'lucky', you might say, in her eyes. While traveling is tradition for the cats, and regularly patrols file in and out of the residence, she is a staple who everyone has come to accept will not leave the border. She's even gone as far to say if their forest burned down she's go down with it- although most doubt her on at least this point.
