Favorite spot: Athena’s favorite sleeping spot would, for sure be, her neighbor’s home. Athena’s home and kennel is well hidden and basically in the middle of no where placed on an island. All her neighbors are spaced far apart. The adventurous, and obviously mischievous, dam often escapes and visits her neighbors. One of which is very fond of the canine and allows her inside for a couple hours. Her and the neighbor have a pretty nice bond between the two, but not as strong as the bond between herself and her handler ofc. ❤️

During the day, Vuur takes his job very seriously. Well-trained and highly intelligent, he is trusted to keep the plains safe and orderly. But no matter how strong he may be, Vuur, like every other being in the plains must eventually rest. When it is time for the sun to set and the grassland has become quiet, he makes his way to his favorite spot : underneath a mighty acacia a great deal older than him. Since he had been brought to the plains as a younger pup, he'd found the humongous forms of life in the forms of trees fascinating; unmoving and yet so mighty- so intimidating. Vuur found this particular acacia when he'd been patrolling the fields a year after he'd been brought into the preserve. He scented it and left a deep but harmless scratch at the base of the tree, and it was easy to spot and come back to, since it was near the watering hole. When he sleeps under the tree at night, he feels safe and protected, knowing the shelter he has found has become a great comfort to him as he curls up for the night. Sometimes, when the day is especially hot, Vuur will climb onto one of the lower branches of the acacia he's marked and watch the herds by the watering hole in amusement.
