Here's this fiesty little Colt for you all! He was a bit of a surprise for the staff- It seems his Parents were intent on keeping him a secret- but the curoius , explorative fellow wandered into the gaze of his herd's keepers. Thankfully Beaux and Roux both have grown in trust with their handler- so socializing this boyo wasn't too big of a hassel- except that he seems to have inherited more than just coat markings from his father. Like father like son, right? His mother seems to have had enough of his antics and has started the weaning process- so we think its safe to give him a loving home of his own.

Why'd you pick that name? Latin origin, and the meaning of Domino is "lord, master", this funky little boy is black and white like a reversed domino, he also likes to knock other colts onto the ground.

Story:

I had traveled miles to meet this unique babe. When I first saw an ad of him online I knew he was perfect and he just had to be mine. I knew he had an amazing life ahead of him with a very successful career. He was going to be a barrel racing champion.
I heard he was a trickster and loved to run but when I got there he didn't act that way. He was calm and patient and loved the treats and scratches I gave him. I immediately felt a connection with him and it was clear that he felt it too.

I had already gotten my trailer ready to bring him home. The floor was covered with a soft blanket, cold freshwater, and fresh hay with some apple slices. With his beautiful white markings and beautiful black base coat, I decided to name him Domino. He definitely grew into his name when I got him home. As soon as he entered the pasture he started knocking down all the other colts until they put him in his place. He is a hundred percent a rambunctious little kid who has a lot to learn. All I know is that there will never be a dull day as long as he is alive.

Personality:

Domino is a mix between his parents if that wasn't already clear. He is protective and strong-willed like his mom. Yet, headstrong, fierce and pushy like his father. The one trait he has from them both is being determined. Of course he the traits he didn't get from his parents are being stubborn, compassionate and being a trickster.
