First Ride Prompt:

The first time anyone tried to ride Delilah was interesting. When we purchased her we were warned she was a looker but maybe not so great when it came to being ridden. And they were right about that.

One of our trainers got her tacked up and mounted just fine, but getting her to actually go anywhere with her rider was the challenge. At first she just stood there, calmly looking around. Then when she was asked for the third time to start walking she did, and ignored the cue to turn left, going right instead to sniff a flower she saw.
It was apparent she wasn't just easily distracted, but rather just liked to do what she wanted and go where she wanted when she wanted.
The rest of the ride wasn't much better with her wandering here and there and ignoring her rider's cues entirely unless they happened to coincide with what she wanted to do.

Obviously we will have to work on this, but Delilah just seems to be humoring us most times.
