Thunder is rather embarrassed and gets hot in the face when she recalls how she obtained the scar. In reality, the scar deterred her from being a shadow stalker entirely and eventually gave her her guardian name! She received the scar from a bird in the early stages of her whisper training, when she still had a choice between being a guardian and a shadowstalker. She had been so focused on waiting for a mouse, a bird landed behind her and pecked her wiggling tail as if it were a worm! She was so surprised that she yowled out loud enough that her mentor said that it echoed throughout the forest and cried to her mother about her terrible experience when she returned to the cove.

Prompt: " I'm going on patrol! " The gorgeous young warrior looked over her shoulder at her leader. " Alright! Don't go too crazy with the prey this time! " He called out. " I'm not going to. I've learned my lesson, never attempt to chase birds into trees if you can't fly, that leads into running into the tree. " She replied, acting smart. " Alright. " He flicked his tail to dismiss her. She leaped up the ledges of the quarry and headed for Fallen trees. She was carefully balancing on the tree that lay across the stream that separated Fallen Trees from the Quarry's forest. From the corner of her eye, she spotted a small grey creature moving about. A mouse! She put on an evil smile. She pretended that she didn't see it.. then whipped around to look at it, but lost balance and fell into the stream. Soaking wet, she climbed out, and spotted the mouse running towards the quarry. She didn't even stop to shake the water drops off her fur before darting after it. The mouse leaped down into the quarry, and following behind came Calicoleaf. It started running around in the quarry's clearing, all cats staring. She cornered it, but didn't stop running as it escaped behind her. Flintstar cringed at the sound of the pretty face hitting a pointy rock that was sticking out of the quarry's wall. She started yowling in pain, as the medicine cat rushed out of her den. She slowly removed Calicoleaf's face from the rock, scooped the she - cat onto her back, and quickly padded to her den.

Prompt: Mosspaw was so happy to go out again with her Mentor to practice her hunting. Once out of their camp and into the thick pine forest Mosspaw was prancing around eager to hear her next lesson when her mentor top her "Stop!" Mosspaw froze in her tracks and immediately honed in on a squirrel moving around in a bush. She crouched down low to the ground and slowly approached her pray, stalking it. Every step she took was silent until.. SNAP Mosspaw accidentally stepped on a twig and the squirrel lunged for a towering pine, instinctively Mosspaw bounded after it, in her mind this squirrel was hers. Before Mosspaw could even make it high up the tree she realized her large figure was no match for the squirrels while moving thru the think pine needles. Before Mosspaw knew what was happening she was crashing towards the ground falling thru a tree of pine needles. On her fall down to the ground she must have hit a twig or a pine needle scuffed her face because when she finally smacked the ground she sat up immediately "I'm fine! I'm fine! she shouted, but she could feel a burning sensation on her face and feel the blood leak down his nose and into her mouth. "We never climb the pine trees" her mentor said. Lesson learned, Mosspaw never tried to climb a pine tree again, mainly because her interests changed, she still hunted for prey but she liked hunting for herbs more, and healing sick and injured cats. Besides, medicine cat has its perks, like food brought right to her. Now Mosseyes is one of the best medicine cats Pineclan has ever had, she is undyingly loyal to her clan members and would risk her life to do anything in her ability to save any one of them.
