Once the summoning circle and star are drawn and all the items placed on the tips of each point of the star, Inkeyu stood to the side. It was her first summoning in a long time, but it was just like riding a bike to her. She grinned and took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she let out a sigh. Reaching her hands out to face the circle, she took another deep breath and began to sing:

Come forth from the other side
Ride the rivers of spiritual light
And come to me with humble pride
To guide me through the dark of night.

Arise, Scarab!
And join me in my magical endeavors!

The circle flashed, all of the items disappeared into the ether and from the created portal, a large, hellund leapt and stood before her. She smiled kindly at him, and bowed. "Welcome. Are you ready to be my magical companion?"
He bowed in return and stepped from the circle, coming to sit beside her. "I am ready master."
She patted his head and stepped to the door of the greenhouse, and held it open for him. "Come on. Lets go home."
He happily trotted over to her and followed her out the door.
