Personality: Rosa is a bold, independent mare who is confident in who she is and not afraid to stand up for herself. She loves to embrace life's every moment and take a risk now and then. Often she finds herself craving adventure and wondering what is beyond her stable. Meeting new ponies, and all kinds of animals, is something she especially enjoys. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and won't let anyone hurt them without a fight. In fact, she is probably more dangerous if you mess with her friends than if you actually mess with her.
Rosa is not easily bothered if others try to make fun of her or put her down, she knows who she is and she likes it and won't let anyone tell her she has to change to be more like other ponies, or better in some way they perceive her to be lacking. But that said she can take some constructive criticism if it is helpful and well meant, though she can be sensitive if anyone mentions her appearance, which is often a little ruffled from all those adventures she likes to take. Not to mention as a foal she was a bit of an ugly duckling and got teased for it. Though she developed a thicker skin and better attitude toward it over time as she grew it can still be a bit of a sore spot for her and that is part of why she especially likes roses. Because of their thorns. They aren't just beautiful, they are well protected and some would say imperfect because of the thorns. To her it is a nice reminder that things can be both beautiful and strong, and even the most beautiful things are not perfect. Since she has a bit of a problem comparing herself to the more 'perfect' kind of mares sometimes it's a nice reminder to her that all of her imperfections, quirks, and her strength don't make her any less beautiful than anyone else.
But usually she isn't one for romantic sorts of metaphors or comparisons most times, fancying herself logical and not easily swayed but romantic, silly gibberish. But deep down she might have a soft spot for all that stuff about true love, destriers in shining armor, and romantic ballads. Sher just won't admit it.
