Dakota is for the most part solitary. He prefers to spend time alone out in the pastures, or roaming the nearby forest on the farm. All the time spent alone, he's taught himself not to spook at the everyday sounds of the farm and forset. He could close his eyes and tell other horses exactly what each sound is and where it is comming from. He has a hard time dealing with foals, mainly because they disturb his peace and quite. While he's not the most sociable horse around he does have a patient side when it comes to teaching other horses, or having a rider new or experienced on his back.

He's a big fan of classical/instrumental music. If he had to choose his favorite, it would have to be Celtic music

Poppy loves to organize things. She often finds herself with a lot of time on her hooves as the riders have been ride the younger horses lately, so she finds ways to entertain herself. Whenever she is out in the pasture, she can be found picking different kinds of flowers and putting them in different piles with care to helping the nearby birds organize their nests.

Poppy especially cherishes the day the younger riders that come and visit the ranch. Whenever she is in her stable when they arrive, the kids collect handfuls of grass to come feed her. Although she already has plenty of food in her stable, she gingerly accepts the treat. Sometimes they would decorate her mane with poppies, which fit her name well.

Poppy socializes quite well with the other horses, though she wouldn’t call any of them truely friends. They find what she does boring and would much rather do other things. When the younger horses were foals, they would often come and watch her sorting plants, collecting feathers, or whatever she was up to that day. She loves her life at the stables.

Poppy’s favorite song would most likely be Mr. Blue Sky by The Electric Light Orchestra.

Personality &/or fav song: Hera’s personallity is complex. She lives in a medieval-like town on the out skirts of Eldenberry, and therefore is not affected by the modern ways of life. She is a wagon horse for a cow farmer, and she carries milk through the town for the civilians to buy. She likes her job because she loves to see all the people of the town, especially the children. Many of the towns children like to climb on her back and go for small rides around the square, and she happily obliges, sometimes taking up to three! She’ll let them slide off her back and pull on her mane all they want, as long as they’re happy she’s happy. When she returns home to her stable she is met by the stable hand’s daughter, a fifteen year old urchin girl who has no money and no possessions besides the clothes on her back. Her name is Kaltain. Kaltain loves to care for Hera, so she is in charge of the large draft mare. Hera loves Kaltain, and knows that she doesn’t have much joy in life. So at night the two of them sneak out of the stall and Hera gallops across the mountain valley with Kaltain on her back, just so the girl and feel the joy of the wind blowing through her “mane” too. Kaltain will also usually sleep in Hera’s stall since the cold air of the mountains gets trapped in the valley, and Hera has the natural ability to warm her up. In short, Hera’s personality can be described best in 5 words: Loyal, Loving, Free, Kindhearted, and Brave.
Favorite Song Call of the Mountains - “Eluveitie” this song carries a strong representation of her home town and also the spirit inside her!
