As a result of this, Kratos threw away her prized possession, a shamanistic stick that has been passed down to her from her mentor just before he died. Lyra thinks she's more than ready to be one, as she's been studying really long and hard to become one, but Kratos thinks the wingery doesn't need one and won't allow her to be one, which makes her really mad. Lyra has been studying how to be a shaman for ages, but no! Kratos only wants "real" ranks in his wingery. He wants her to be a hunter so she can get food, or he MIGHT consider her to be a guard, if she proves her strength to him. Lyra is still mad at him for throwing away the shamanistic stick and is refusing any other roles until he makes her a shaman, in an effort to rebel against him and his rule.
