what is her biggest flaw?:

Not only were her devilish good looks intimidating, Dia’s personality wasn’t exactly anyone’s cup of tea. The red heifer was a very blunt and in your face kind of gal, so there was no holding back her thoughts. She always put a damper on the fun, even if she didn’t mean to, because she was always telling people to quit doing things if she didn’t like it or agree with what they were doing.

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes Dia’s discipline was much needed. You could often hear her snapping at her friends “Hey! Stop that! There’s young calves here, don’t use such foul language.” Her lips would drop into a mean scowl and her slit pupils would form a penetrating glare. Dia sometimes would forget just how menacing she could look when she got angry.

There were other times that Dia would chime in with her two cents when it was less than necessary however, which is what really put a tremendous strain on all of her relationships, and what some would consider her biggest flaw. If her friends were doing anything she considered embarrassing or rude, such as raising their voice, she would berate them. “When you yell that loudly people are going to think you’re angry, or that you’re just being plain rude” she would explain in a harsh and nasty tone. Her friends would never get mad and raise their voices at each other, they were just an easily excited bunch who often forgot what their inside voices were.

With Dia always yelling at them whenever they felt so happy, it made it difficult for her friends to still feel comfortable in their own skin around her. They constantly felt like they were walking on eggshells, that something they did Dia would find unacceptable, and they would be reprimanded for it when all they were trying to do was have fun and be themselves. When they were around her, they started changing the way they would act, but they felt miserable doing so. Eventually, they grew tired of the charade, and simply stopped inviting Dia to hang out with them. Dia truly loves her pals, but did not understand why they had grown so distant. She did not see that it was her that drove them away. If only they had told her why they left, then maybe… maybe she could change. (400/400)

She is blind to the true beauty that burns within her.

Her insecurities prove to be something that holds her back. She believes that her intimidating looks often scare others away from her instead of convince them to be her friend. More often than not, she is seen away from a crowd because she lacks the sight to see that she is a beautiful Heifer inside and outside. Her lack of sight to her beauty is the reason that she feels that the other Buttermilks are so afraid of her. The truth behind the fact is that since Blaire distances herself away from others, that they decide that it may be best not to bother her. For, Blaire must see her own beauty before anything else.

Everday, Blaire wishes that her insecurities about herself would go away, because she wants to make friends with the other Buttermilks more than anything. But she has no clue how to go about dealing with her insecurities, so succumbs to them yet again. However, one day, Blaire will work up the confidence to speak to a Buttermilk that can be seen alone. Together, the two will help mend the insecurity that Blaire feels about herself. An intimidating looking heifer, who has an amazing heart, and an amazing appearance. A beautiful heifer who is blind. Blind to the fact that she proves to be one of the most beautiful of them all.

what is her biggest flaw?: Hela has a very uncontrollable temper. little things will set her off within seconds and once she's off, theres no where to go to outrun her wrath. once she is angry, Hela stays angry. She will hold onto a grudge until she dies honestly. She doesn't go well with a herd and prefers sticking to herself so she won't go off on anyone. But the downside to being isolated is Hela does not know how to interact with others. She longs for a friendship but doesn't know how the dynamics of one would work, so instead she stays lonely.
