It had purple, shimmering water and ancient roots that created a cave over the top of it. Magical mushrooms were scattered along the trunks and sunlight shone on the vivid flowers that carpeted the forest floor. That was where Azulia found the injured Polaiira, who had been attacked by a Apphaline (a demonic wolf thing :'D I have no idea! Just making things up as I go~) They have been best friends ever since and Azulia brought her back to her own herd.

Flash's best friend is a stallion named Vixen. Vixen and Flash met each other as foals while they were being weaned away from their mothers. They instantly became fast friends, and spent lots of time together in the meadows and forests of their homeland. Often times they'd go off alone and chase each other through the trees, playing simple games and just enjoying foal-hood. However the wilds are dangerous for young defenseless beings, and it wasn't long before evils acknowledged theyr presence in the forests. One day while they were walking through the trees after a long day of messing around, (at this time they're about yearlings) a mountain lion attacked the pair. The two fiercely defended each other, struggling to fight off the predator. They were able to successfully flee from the animal and rejoin their native herd. The incident brought the two of them closer together, allowing them to share such a special bond. There is nothing particularly "romantic" between them yet, an they simply enjoy each other's company and personalities.
