What is a Shadow Flit?
Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. These large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

Their entire life Gyp has been told they are important, in some way or another. They've been showered with titles and identities from the moment they were born and they'd be lying if they claimed that didn't effect them in some capacity. Gyp knows they're important and that comes across in the way they move and talk. One could call them stuck up and be completely accurate. Yet, there's line, however fine it may be, between that and arrogance. Gyp could once have been called arrogant, but these days they've managed to tone themselves down a bit. After all, it's hard to be full of ones self after watching your empire fall. Promised the world and never given it, the empire Gyp was once supposed to rule crumbled. While it still exists as a small country, it was forced to banish all of it's potential heirs. Living in exile has humbled Gyp. They, in fact, have grown to find their heritage distasteful.

Gyp today is more of a minimalist person. They like keeping a low profile and hate being recognized. Currently, they work with a group of "independent problem solvers" who perform a variety activities for various employers regardless of moral implication. Gyp is the group's strategist and specializes in damage control. They also, despite their current job, have learned to avoid hurting others as frequently as possible. While still a very selfish person, they're less likely to get others caught in the crossfire for the sake of their own gain.

Short term is development the adjustment from being royalty to living life as a rogue. I especially would love to dig into how their group (who's name i need to figure out) balances their morals with their own survival and greed. I'm thinking of this group as a very Rogue Oneish ragtag gang.

Bimberi is known by his friends as constantly in motion. He has a wild streak that needs to be satisfied with excursions up into the mountains or down to the shore to surf and run in the waves. He is quiet to strangers, though even they may notice his itch for motion. Bim is happiest when he is engaged with something, although stagnant activities only occupy him for a short time.

He makes friends easily, but does not hang onto them long. If others do not initiate conversations, he will let it go and they may not hear from him again. He doesn't mind a solitary life. Those that remain close to him have to make the effort, but find it more than worth it. Days with Bimberi are days worth living for and he makes sure every second is spent on something worthwhile.

I have 4 AUs that are all connected somehow. I plan to place Bimberi in my "realistic world," but because of his explorative tendencies, he can stumble upon one of the hidden wormholes that leads to the fantasy/magic realm. At first, he ventures into the realm but does not encounter any others. Once he finally does meet someone, he tries to play along, not giving away the fact that he is from a different dimension, and follows them back to a village. Since he is mostly a loner, I think it could be interesting for him to meet a good friend or love interest and have to continually sneak back and forth between his world and their world without arousing suspicion. He has never had a connection like this, so this bond is intensely important for him to keep. Eventually this world will become caught between a fight with the Upperworld and the Underworld, resulting in the closure of all wormholes to prevent spies, and one of the two could become trapped in the other's world; which would create more interesting scenarios.
