      name: Rowan
      gender: heifer
collar color: green gradients (similar to eye color) with a white clover - other details / bell color up to you <3

      prompt:
"You like to read, don't you, little one?"

A young calf looked up at the heifer, eyes big. "Well, sometimes," she replied, quickly adding, "but not always."

Her mother gave her a quick lick on the forehead, "Of course not always, Rowan. Never always."

        ---

In truth, Rowan had never been strictly this or that.

She was neither loud nor quiet. Instead, she was loud enough for others to hear, but not loud enough to annoy. She wasn't talkative, but she could carry on a pleasant conversation. Her tone was never harsh, yet rarely very soft. Her words were not at all cruel, but she wasn't one to sugarcoat and flatter. Her manners weren't lacking, though she didn't always behave appropriately. She rarely wore her heart on her sleeve, but couldn't turn away someone who needed a friend. She loved to be outside, but fancied being on the couch with a good movie as well. She spoke her mind without forcing her views on anyone.

She was decidedly in the middle with regards to everything in her life.

        ---

"It's okay to take sides every now and then, you know, Rowan."

Rowan looked back at Serafina, her expression equal parts confusion and sass, "What ever do you mean?"

The younger cow smiled gently. "Loving something fiercely means that you can lose it, that it can hurt you," she began, voice soft and sweet and far too knowing for her age, "But it's also what makes you, well, you."

Rowan scoffed, a sound more suited to a frown than the smile she wore, "I'm afraid I don't understand what that has to do with taking sides."

"Never taking a side means never loving anything, never hating anything. It also means you're just existing, moving through life without any real meaning. There's so much to gain from not always staying in that middle ground, Rowan."

Rowan's eyebrows furrowed, and for the first time in her life there was nothing contradictory about her. Her expression matched her emotions, and her thoughts centered around her emotions. She finally understood.

        ---

Rowan had always loved her ability to remain impartial, to exist in a middle ground. Now, however, she loves her opinions. She loves the sides she chooses and the loudness of her words. Most of all, though, she loves how much she's grown, and how happy she is to be different.

username: Ana the Derp
name: Margaret (Meg)
gender: heifer
collar color: Dark Forest Green

prompt: Meg is a quiet, thoughtful heifer who loves art. She wakes, eats and sleeps art. It is her passion and her life. She paints long days by the oceanside with the distinct smell of oil paints permeating the air. She swirls her brush on the palette collecting just the right amount of color and dabs the canvas adding a small cloud her and sea foam there. She proceeds to paint a bull, the man of her dreams but cannot seem to paint the face as she hasn't found him yet. Her room is full of paintings of this bull with no face. She expresses her deepest desires and wants on the canvas and could spend hours upon hours sitting on the hillside by the sea with her easel and paints, painting to her hearts content. She loves her artistic talent and prides herself upon it.

username: ➷.River.➷
name: Sadie
gender: heifer
collar color: Same as her gorgeous eyes!

prompt:
Sadie has always been one to know her own flaws, but she is always aware of the best aspects of herself. If she had to choose, her favorite thing about herself is selflessness. Sadie has always been one to help others whenever she can. She would rather go help a friend take care of something, than have leisure time to herself. Sadie recalls one instance where she helped her close friendEdmond, make a bouquet of flowers for his mother on mother's day. Another time, she was participating in race that she has trained months on end for, when she saw another heifer begin to slow down and start to breathe very heavily. Sadie quickly stopped and rushed back to the heifer as others continued on. She asked if the heifer was okay and they finished the race together. Although sometimes Sadie has learned being selfless isn't always a good thing. She realized that she never did things for herself or took care of herself when needed. This took a toll on her, but she continued to always put others first. Over time, Sadie began to realize that it's good to be willing to help others, but you must take care of yourself as well. It took a lot of time, but eventually Sadie set aside time for herself every week. She never stopped helping others and doing things for them, but she also made sure that she was okay as well. Her favorite thing about herself is selflessness, but in the end she knows that she is proud of taking care of her physical and mental health.

This is one pretty girly! Good luck to everyone who enters!

name:
Leppie

gender:
heifer

collar color
Rainbow and a gold bell

prompt:
Leppie, since she was little has always believed herself to have incredible luck and fortune. She'd often win at guessing, games really anything you could think of she'd win most of the time. And because of this she has so much confidence in winning that in a lot of cases it can be her downfall as nobody wants to play with someone they have no chance of beating. Leppie has a bit of a gambling addiction and tries her luck at really any game she comes across, In which her friends have started to try and find ways to control Leppie's addiction. She believes her luck may have something to do with the clover birthmark on her shoulder and shes very proud of it. You could say Leppie loves really every flaw about herself, even her habit of attention-seeking sometimes. Unsurprisingly Leppie brings fortune to herself and those around her which will often have people wanting to hang around her a lot and befriend her. She has an odd love for rainbows and really anything related to St. Patricks day, Her room even being filled with Clover themed items such as plushies, blankets, etc. Leppie also has a small pot of gold and other valuables hidden somewhere but she won't tell anybody where exactly it is.

username:
name: Brielle
gender: heifer
collar color: Same as her eyes, with small gold designs (Go crazy on the designs!)

prompt:
Brielle isn't one to really talk about herself, even if her friends ask. She has always prided herself on being as humble as she can possibly be , however if there is one thing Brielle can say that she adores about herself is her intuition. "You can't judge a book by it's cover", but if you are Brielle, you sure can! She can see straight through lies and will tell you what for. She can also use her intuition to decide whether a bull is decent enough for her friends to date, with a "Get em' girl" or a "Oh, honey, he ain't it"!
Her intuition has allowed for her to stay out of sticky situations, as well as earn some of the greatest friends she will ever have. Brielle can always count on her gut to guide her in the right direction!

Nora
gender:
heifer
collar color:
artist choice!
prompt:
Nora's favorite thing about herself is honestly her hair. She prides herself on it and spends much of her free time taking care of it to make sure its stays shiny and silky smooth. She loves the colors of her fur and the way the white and brown contrast with each other. Nora's gorgeous and she knows it. Yet her vanity isn't born from smugness, but rather from just a level of comfort in her own skin. She knows who she is and has accepted herself, flaws and all. Most importantly, she's come to love something that she, growing up, absolutely loathed.

As a young calf she was extremely self conscious about her hair. Fellow calves teased her relentlessly and, while she was always one to laugh at her own expense, she couldn't deny that their words got under her skin. They would joke that someone had spilled coffee on her or occasionally call her a used napkin. She played along with these self depreciating jokes for years, secretly burrowing them within her own heart. However, as she aged, she learned how to accept and embrace herself. She learned that even jokingly putting herself down wasn't healthy and eventually she came to love what she'd grown up hating about herself.

name: Colleen
gender: heifer
collar color: Green like her eyes

prompt: There were several things Colleen liked about herself. Her hooves were always shiny, and her eyes always sparkled a delightful green. But most of all, she loved her clover birthmark. It was her good luck charm, she was sure. It gave her all the confidence she needed. As a small calf she wandered away from the herd once and encountered a wolf. The wolf stared her down before turning around and leaving her be. This was the start of her lucky streak. Since then she has always been an adventurer, one of the only heifers to leave the herd to explore. She has found a small stream in the woods with a giant clover patch this way. Colleen is the only one in the herd who knows about it. Its her safe spot, where she goes to think and nap, and sometimes even graze on some of the clover. And its all thanks to her lucky birthmark.
