Explanation: Neith was always known for being a foal obsessed with things others had deemed dangerous. Her mother warned her of the dangers of mountain lions yet she often attempted to befriend their young. She was always scolded for her befriending of snakes, scorpions and other deadly creatures. This lead to her being teased and picked on quite a bit by the other foals. One night Neith heard someone crying in a cave nearby, the cries were very faint and she worried whoever it was, was injured. That was when she found little Archie, he was so small that had he not shouted she might have squashed him. She asked him what was wrong to which his sadly replied,
“No-one seems to like me, people like you consider me deadly while other spiders think I’m a joke”
His tears continued to pour down his small face as he wept. Neith heavily disagreed with what he said and spoke immediately.
“I like you. Everyone I know is afraid of me because I like to befriend spiders and other creatures like you.”
Little Archie’s eyes widened and he leapt into the air and onto her nose, it tickled her quite a lot but she watched with giggles as the spider done a gleeful dance. The pair bonded quickly over the next few days and eventually were inseparable, much to Neith’s mother’s distaste. Neith however continued to befriend dangerous creatures such as Archie as she felt as though they were misunderstood like herself.

It was a warm summer day, I could remember the smell of fresh roses in the air, and I could feel the hot sun breathing down my back. I was alone, my family all died off, from natural causes.. well, all except for my father. He died a gruesome death; hunters had sent their hounds after him, and he was already weak from being shot. I didn't remember that day much, I just remember that he died and saved my life. I was without a family now, and that pained me.

I had fled to a garden, and the garden became my home. I was surrounded by roses; some were tainted and others were alive. But the roses aren't what saved me or interested me.. it was the critters that lived among them; peacock spiders. Tiny arachnids they are, but they're so full of color and life. Their little dances and big ol' eyes always captured my heart. Almost everyone I've met have expressed their disgust for arachnids, but I don't see why they'd say that! Arachnids are all innocent and pure, no matter how venomous they are.

I've learned that they are gentle, they don't hurt me.. they keep me occupied, and they're a relief. I always look forward to spotting them in my gardens, for they're the best things in it; they're the cutest ones in my opinion. I could care less about other bugs or insects, I only cared for arachnids; specifically peacock spiders. I'll have to share them one day, when I might bare a foal, I'll have to show my little one just how amazing the peacock spiders are. What's to hate about them? Nothing-- they have big eyes full of wonder, colorful bodies and they're cute and fuzzy. Even if they are venomous, they're still cute; and you will most definitely find yourself beaming with joy as they dance so passionately.
