How and why they got the eyes: Serena got her anklet first. She was young then, carefree, and believed none of the dangerous stories about the woods near her home. She didn't mind that many Kiuii went in and never came out. She was determined to prove to everyone there was nothing there.

Early one morning, Serena set off. She had nothing with her but her eyes, ears, and wits. She stayed arrogant and strong for about twenty minutes. Then she started getting nervous because she was hearing strange sounds. As if....as if the trees were talking (forgive me for using a LOTR reference). Serena started to grow unsure of herself, but she kept wandering around. It wasn’t until she saw a tree move that worry really hit her.

Serena, like a perfect horror movie Kiuii, stared at it as a small part of it detached frI’m the tree. It turned swiftly and came face to face with Serena. She turned to run, but the tree entity picked her up easily and threw her. Serena (luckily) landed in a patch of soft moss and ran as fast as she could.

She found herself hiding behind a statue of a wise looking Kiuii, having out run the tree. She huffed a sigh of relief but yelled again when the statue picked her up.

“Foolish mortal.” it growled in a voice that sounded like two stones grating together (Probably because it was). "You dare to walk into my forest thinking you can own it without consequences?"

"I-" Serena squeaked. She was cut off by a searing pain on her ankle. "The anklet is infused into you as much as your fur." rumbled the statue. "It shows everyone the forest is always watching." He dropped Serena, and she ran out of the forest, as fast as her legs could carry her.

It wasn't long before Serena realized she could use the eye to spy on suspicious characters or Kiuiis trying to get into the woods. She headed to the statue again and kindly asked for a necklace to increase this power, to keep the forest safe (she really just wanted no one to have to get an anklet fused onto them). The statue granted her a necklace, which could but doesn't take off. She can see any suspicious character at any given time and keeps Kiuiis from the woods as a member of the Eclipse (a secret organization of my Kiuiis)
