Favorite planet: The wonderful Kepler-452b!
Astra has always been fascinated by the mysteries of Kepler-452b, also known as the second Earth. It's the most Earth-like planet ever discovered and, relative to the rest of space, isn't too far away! Who knows what mysteries this planet could hold?? New types of Snowies? New species of dragons? All the wonderful new birds and plants and species that have never been seen or even imagined before!! Somehow, Astra will find a way to get there one day and discovered everything this mysterious planet has to offer - it's been their dream ever since they were a young dragon. What kind of world is Kepler-452b? We'll find out one day!

My favourite planet is Uriel, from a Wrinkle in Time. Call her fictional all you want - I know it's out there.
If you're one of those scientific folk (I myself am not), the exact placement of Uriel is "the third planet of the star Malak in the spiral nebula Messier 101". That sounds real enough to me.
The book depicts Uriel as a peaceful and beautiful planet, which, to me, sounds wonderful. To quote Madeleine L'Engle, "The grasses of the field were a tender new green, and scattered about were tiny, multicolored flowers...From the trees at the base of the mountain came a sudden singing of birds."
I think Uriel is my friend. I know that sounds odd, but considering I have no real "homeworld", I have other ways of developing connections to planets. People never realize how lucky they are to be able to say: "I'm from Earth." Me, I give planets character.
Ever since I heard of her, I knew Uriel was the kind of planet who would be your best friend. I picture her as a little boastful, but with reason. She has meadows and mountains, all pure and untouched by evil. That is certainly something to boast about. I also imagine her being a listener. She will sit with you, and lend you a shoulder to cry on. She's there for you. Or... she will be. If I meet her.
Finding Uriel is my lifelong goal. I have been to Saturn and Jupitar, Pluto and Mars. I have even seen other galaxies. And I know, it's just a matter of time, until I find her.
