Postby SydneyandStorm » Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:35 pm

This is our second and last Rocky Mountain Horse! The next one will be a different breed.

To win this girl, tell me what kind of terrain she used to live in, what type of terrain she lives in now, and how she's adjusting to the terrain (if applicable) or otherwise her new home. This competition ends on August 20th.

Show name: DSS Golden Essence
Call name: Rea
Gender: Mare
Age: 6 years
Height: 15.1 hands
Breed: Rocky Mountain Horse
Discipline: Cross country
Home terrain: Rea was used to live in the middle of a beautiful valley with a lot flowers, trees, rocks.....
New terrain: The terrain at DSS is not that valley but...is not bad. There are flowers and trees and even a small lake. The bad thing is that there is a lot of noise and a lot of people....
How is she adjusting? At first it was a bit difficult to adjust her to the new terrain. She became a bit nervous due to the noises, but as soon as she met the other horses she calmed herself.

Call name: Classy
Gender: Mare
Age: 6 years
Height: 15.1 hands
Breed: Rocky Mountain Horse
Discipline: Cross Country
Home terrain: Dry, Grassy w/ a Cornfield. Small Property
New terrain: Usually Rainy (During hotter months) / Mountainous / Big Property
How is she adjusting? Classy has adjusted well to the change. She does not take a liking to the rain hitting her shiny coat! But other than that she has not minded the different scenery. She takes a liking to the bigger pasture size and the fact that she can stretch all she wants.

Sorry I was late judging this one! Congrats, Starred! I loved the stark contrast between the two homes and they both seem to really suit her ^^
