Dear Past self,
I wish I could tell you to change everything you're doing now. To change the outcome of things.
But I'm afraid I can't, plus why would I want to?
If I go back and change everything then I wouldn't have the friends that I have.
I would be living a whole different life. It could be a better one, but I'm content with the one I'm living right now.
My friends and family make me elated to be here. In this life. In this world.
Without them, I would be miserable and depressed. I wouldn't be here if I didn't have them by my side.
I love them with all my heart.
So I wish I could give you happiness. You were never really happy when I was young.
Don't lock yourself in your room because if you don't go outside you won't meet amazing people who will change your life forever.

There's a lot out there for you. And if I could I would tell you every good thing that has happened to us in these past few years.
We are happier. We laugh and smile and actually mean it.
We go out almost all the time and have fun with friends.
The world is such a different place when you're happy.
Yes, we still get hit with depression but it's normal and we're not alone anymore.
Our friends help us through it, we cry and we talk and we feel better.
