prompt BrackenShine greatly enjoys the terrain of the forest, but not the grassy forest floor, no she enjoys the terrain of walking across the branches of the many trees that span across the land. The texture of bark on her paws and the way she's able to feel as if she is a red bushy squirrel helps her enjoy it more. And she feels like she can see forever when she climbs to the top of the tallest sycamore. She loves the forest of the valley, the way that so much undergrowth grows and all the different animals that she sees just aids in her love for the area. BrackenShine doesn't love the moors, where she always feels like she's out in the open, or the river flats, which always tend to throw off a mist and the ground is flat and limitless, and she dislikes the mountains, the rubble always making it difficult to track and stalk prey. She loves the forest, because she can climb as high as she wishes, hide for as long as she wants, and jump over anything in her way.[185 words]

The loam of the earth squelches underneath his every step in the Wetlands. Jaggedcreek adores it. He can’t imagine how he survived in the past without the wet landscape around him.

In wetleaf, Floodclan migrates west to escape the flood waters, but Jaggedcreek? Well... on the cusp of mornings, when most of his clanmates are commonly settling in to escape the oncoming heat of day, he admits to sneaking back into the heart of the fen. When he reaches the marshes, dawn rays illuminate the ground and grasses in some of the prettiest ways he’s ever seen... though ground might be a misnomer, especially when that soft, pliable ground gives way under his paws and makes his wet fur wetter. Good of a time as any to take a swim, in his opinion! Thank Starclan no one’s usually around to see his blunders...

Well, no matter-- Jaggedcreek simply shakes off the ‘miscalculation’ and treads along. Swish... Swish. He pauses in the shallow flood waters and takes in his surroundings again. The sunbeams reflect off the watery floor amid the aquatic plants like a million tiny crystals. Amongst the reeds, Jaggedcreek can’t help but stand in awe of the sight.

prompt Quietwheat’s favorite terrain is wheat fields. For the longest time Mountainclan did not know what those were, it wasn’t until a twoleg moved into their territory that they found out what it was and boy did Quietwheat love it. During Leaffall her patrol came across a field of tall wheat silently swaying in the breeze. She was mesmerized by it. She could be found hiding in the tall plants swaying back and forth with the wind. The movement calms her and the stripping of her pelt makes her almost invisible in the golden sea.

Prompt: Reedwhisker has always been rather soft-pawed in the eyes of the clan. Since early on in his apprenticeship, the tom has shown a favouring toward the grasslands of Fogclan territory, and often showed clear dislike toward the forest, claiming the terrain was too rough and difficult. One can't really blame him though, for he is rather awkward when hunting in the forest, often getting caught in the underbrush, and stepping on twigs and thorns. Yet in the grassland, he is like a fish in water. Tall and lithe, Reedwhisker was practically made for the moore, he is quick and agile, and is an excellent hunter of the prey that live there. But it's not just his ability to adapt to that area of the territory that he likes. Reedwhisker loves how open the plains are, the sky clearly visible, the wind blustering his fur and whiskers, its like home for him. He feels at ease when on the grasslands, so you could say it is his favourite terrain.

Whitemoon’s favourite terrain is the grassy forest floor on the edge of BoulderClan’s camp, but only during the Days of Falling Leaves, where the crinkling sounds of the crispy leaves underfoot rings throughout the forest. But even then, it isn’t the entire season, but only during the first of the Falling Leaves months, when the leaves have just left their trees and are vibrant in reds and oranges. In the morning dew, they shimmer like fallen stars across the ground, mesmerising anyone who walks by. But it isn’t just the aesthetics that Whitemoon likes, no, but the fact that he first entered BoulderClan during this time. It’s such a fond memory for the tom that the thought of being able to walk across these leaves brings him immense joy and hope; something that he doubts will ever be replaced. On a more subtle note, the colours remind him of his closest friend Ratrunner, which turns into an enormous comfort, knowing that he will find his friend anywhere, no matter what happens.

Prompt: [ paved stone ] Falconflight is unbelievably interested in the smooth, square texture of the stone-trees that link the islands of the lake and the ground around the abandoned twoleg garden. He knows they're twoleg-created but they're beautiful and strange and stay cool even in the heat of green-leaf. He could spend hours tracing a paw over the smooth surface or following the mesmerizing lines of the stones with his eyes.

prompt: as the oldest cat in blitheclan, bramblelight occasionally feels like she can't keep up with her younger, more energetic clanmates. she's lived in the mountains most of her life, so running free in the forest and swimming in a winding river is unfamiliar to her, and she often finds herself falling behind. however, ever since she learned that the other cats of bramblelight have never truly braved mountainous territory before despite mountains edging blitheclan's entire western border, she's reminded herself that she'd be flying ahead of them if they were on rocky edges and cracked stone instead of soft grass and sandy river shores. because of this, she loves mountainous terrain and occasionally climbs cliffs to sunbathe instead of hopping on the more popular sunbathing rock by the eastern border. she has tried to convince the rest of blitheclan to join her so she can show off, but she hasn't quite won them over yet.

Though his name would say otherwise, Otterheart's favorite terrain in their territory has to be the ruins found in the southern parts of their territory. It amazes him to no end that twolegs used to live there and now it's nothing but a bunch of crumbling rock and stone. As an apprentice, Otterheart would always volunteer to hunt and patrol around there just to get the chance to explore the ruined structures. He would spend his whole day there if he could, climbing to the tops of the ruins, just so he could watch the sun go down.

Rubbleflank doesn't often speak of favorites. After all, he finds most everything "simply marvelous", as he would say, but if you really pushed him, you might be able to get one of two answers. The first would be this:
