What is this Aruca running from?
Himself, or, well, a version of himself that he no longer wishes to see, a part of him that has been hunting him down for years. He's always felt like his past would destroy him, and he always had the need to make sure he was as far away from that version of himself as possible. While not manifesting as an Aruca, his past manifested in someone he used to look up to. His father. He's been running and hiding from his father's influence, wishing to go around the world before him so that the world would know who he really was, and not his father's version of him.

His father would be in a town talking about his lovely daughter who was going to grow up to be a business lady with a rich husband, but three steps ahead was Coson, who was saying how he was an anarchist who wanted to burn down large establishments. News outlets would call him "the man behind the chaos" and his father would become more enraged. He'd want to bring Coson back home, and punish him for his rebellion against his family. Coson, however, was still running, waiting for the day when he has enough bravery to not just silence his father, but to kill him. It's what he deserved, but he wasn't ready for it yet.

How long has they've been on the run?
Coson has forgotten how long he's been running for, all that he can remember is that he's been running for a long time mentally, wanting to escape his family's pressures. However, his physical running from his parent only started in his late teens, when he and his father had an argument that caused Coson to run away. So of now, he's been running for about 8 years, and he's sometimes surprised that his father hasn't given up at this point. And that his past was still breathing down his neck no matter how fast he ran.

Sometimes he felt like he had outrun them both, people in mass panic about him as a male, and not as his past self, but it'd always be breathing down his neck, threatening for all of that to be changed with a breaking headline calling him what he was before. It's hard for him to keep running sometimes, but he thinks about how many years he's been running for, and thinking that a few more couldn't hurt.

How do they hide their identity?
When it comes to who they're running from, they don't need to hide their identity. They just need to be true to themself, and let everyone know how he presents himself. He refuses to hide his identity, because without his identity being crystal clear, his story of running and revenge lose it's touch. So he decides to keep himself out in the open, and let the world see his true self destroying the world just like he planned.
