"my favorite beach activity is,,,,hmmm,,,,,,making sandcastles! i love the feeling of all kinds of sand, wether it's wet and drippy or hot and gritty! elaborate sand spires and motes are a fitting accent to any sandcastle. why not go run around in the waves? unfortunately i'm prone to sensory overload issues, and prefer to keep it low key. building with sand is calming, and a good tactile activity!"

What does this kylig do at the beach, and why? Dig holes and fills them with random objects. When she was younger, her father and her would go to the beach and stay there at sunset to night to look at the stars. He would tell her to make a big hole to put fire wood in so they could start a fire. She would spend hours digging, loving every second, and loving even more when her father praised her for her work. As the fire crackled, they would sit and stare at the sunset together. Well, her father would watch, she was often busy collecting shells. He would bring a telescope and tent, so they would get a better look and can stay as long as they like. She would pick the shiniest star to look at and would look at it forever (forever being 15 minutes) before digging more holes, and putting the shells she found earlier in them. She would dig them as deep as possible and then cover tham with sand so no one could steal her prized collection and they wouldn't get damaged if someone stepped on them. Eventually, her father passed, and her mother would take her to the beach instead. Lyss never felt close with her mom, and wouldn't sit still with her for a second. She dug holes in memory of her father, promising one day she would reach up and put a star in one (wip)

-It's all for Her.
-(name) is surrounded by beaches. She could easily walk ten minutes and get to a beach. But it's not The Beach. And it doesn't have Her.
-during a family vacation when she was young, (name) met Her. (name) wandered off from her family, and down to the tidepools. Not far into the ocean was a girl who claimed to be a mermaid. (name) thought she was the coolest, and though (name) couldn't swim they splashed water at each other
-every year the family went back to the beach, and every time (name) would find Her in the ocean. (name) never did catch the girl's name, and always referred to the girl as Her or Mermaid.
-even as the family vacations stopped, (name) kept going every year to see Her. (name) eventually fell in love with Her
- "You know I'm not really a mermaid right?" "you're right. You must be a succubus, since I'm so head over heels in love with you"

What does this Kylig do at the beach, and why?: She loves to search shells and believes that one day she will find a pearl. It was always her dream when she was little to find a pearl and wear it on a necklace. Her mother told her that some even have magical powers and because she was little she thought it was true. (She still thinks that it’s true.)

what does this kylig do at the beach, and why?

marlow loves to dig for little forgotten treasures - broken shells that sound like waves, pieces of shattered glass that tell stories, bottlecaps forgotten. he decorates his bungalow with them; hangs them, glues them, and tacs them wherever he can to make it feel like home. he lives alone right by the beach because he is completely in love with the earth and himself. he loves to collect things because it gives him a purpose he couldn't love more - he creates things out of the lost bits he finds while cleaning up his favorite entity - the earth. at sunset he loves to watch the rays of golden sunlight penetrate the many colorful treasures and create rainbows on his bed.
