Gaius is self-centered and can be seen as standoffish but is gentle towards humans, especially children. He is quite intelligent and doesn't allow himself to be worked up by other people's drama. Gaius is gay and has never shown any interest in mares other than to be friends with them much to his owners annoyance since he was bought as a breeding stallion due to his height, well built frame and unique looking colouring, a perfect specimen of his breed. After many unsuccessful attempts to pair him up with mares his owner gave in and turned to artificial means instead as it causes less stress on Gaius, his owner and the unfortunate unsatisfied mares he is placed with.
