Breed: Himalayan Rabbit
Information These rabbits, some say originating in China, Tibet and Russia, are very popular and recognized within both the US and UK. They come in four different color types; Black, Blue, Chocolate and Lilac. They are predominantly white, with points of color, looming much like they were dipped in ink. All Himalayan rabbits have red eyes. These rabbits weigh up to 2kgs (4.5lbs) and are long in body, slender and often described as snaky.
Himalayan’s are very well suited for children as they are a more docile breed; these rabbits are also very curious, love to play and are loving if socialized properly. Many are used in 4-H or similar programs for children to raise!

Barn Name: Axia (pronounced Asia)
Breed: Lionhead <3
Information Lionhead Rabbits are small bunnies with compact, rounded bodies and are considered to be a fancy breed. The distinguishing factor between Lionhead bunnies and other breeds is that this breed has a “wool mane” much like the animal they are named after, the Lion. Lionheads are not only cute and perky, they are very good-natured bunnies who are also tolerant of children as well, and as such, they make wonderful pets for kids and adults alike. They tend to be well-mannered, friendly, and easy to train. Recognized colours are: Tortoise (Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac) and Ruby Eyed White (REW), Chocolate & Seal though crossbreeds with other rabbits can produce different colouring. Average life span = 8-10 years. Usually accommodation size is calculated by taking the rabbits length and multiplying it by 5 but the more space, the better.
They can live either
indoors or
outdoors.

This rabbit has many uses and purposes ranging from being a pet and participating in shows to producing furs and meat. They have seven different identified colors: black, blue, fawn, sandy, light gray, steel gray, and white. They tend to have rather large litters, ranging from 5 to 12 in one litter.
