Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!

The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.

Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare circumstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

I went to my local farmer's market today and tried a Rainier cherry for the first time!
They were v pretty(and tasty omg) and I loved the sunrise colors so here we are :>

Why?: Laurang loves the creamy texture of this dessert and how it melts on her tongue. She especially loves how many different ways she can make it look. Having always been one to change her mind often, this sweet treat never bores her with how many forms it takes. Laurang also likes to switch up the toppings from crumbled crackers to vanilla wafers or chocolate chips with whipped cream. The possibilities are endless, just like her imagination~

Why? : They love this dessert because it reminds them of when they were little.
They always ate mango's, and as they got older they figured out how to make Mango Coconut rice pudding!
They love the texture as well as the fruitiness.

Why? : when avery was young, he recalls his father making desserts centered around papayas on multiple occasions. avery would attempt to climb the papaya tree in their backyard and, if he succeeded, would pick the fruits from it. his father believed that no food should go to waste, so as a result, papaya mousse became a regular dish for avery to be served. nowadays, he makes papaya mousse himself, and he likes to give it his own little kick. he enjoys sprinkling brown sugar on top and dipping graham crackers in the dessert.
