Inspiration for design: As soon as I saw Mater and Lightning I fell in love, which also made it really hard to choose just one! In the end though, Mater's rich red coat and big white forehead marking (are they still called 'stars' for cattle?) seemed like a fun design to work with. It was easy to choose a lovely, deep red liver chestnut coat for the base, which in turn made it easy to incorporate the Brabant breed into the design- chestnut is one of their most common colours! The floof of the draft certainly proved a challenge to mimic, but all-in-all I adored working on this horse!

There we go, one pet-to-CWHR down! The coat came out lighter than the reference, so if you want me to try and darken it I will- the colour palette has been saved!
