What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

When it rains, he loves to roll in the mud or splash in puddles. He loves the rain because when he was a foal, he would go out in the rain with his friends and they would chase each other through the muddy field and splash each other as best they could. He was quite the speedy little guy and would go play with them in the rain any chance he could. He enjoys the rain so much due to it bringing back those wonderful memories of his old pals. What is his favorite weather and why? (100 words minimum) Ore grew up in the mountains of Montana. The weather where he lived was often the same: 50 degrees, windy, and cloudy with a few little shafts of light shinning through. He loved climbing to the top of the mountains and looking down at all the surrounding lands, the wind blowing on his back. It gave him a feeling of power and grandeur. When he left his herd to strike out on his own, he left the mountains behind and ended up in the hot flatlands. He likes his new home enough, but he misses the mountains and the cool breezes that made him feel like he was king of the world. He misses the cool dark days, the strong winds, and the feeling that the very air was hugging him, especially now that he feels like he's being baked every day. Someday he will return. Someday...

When Adair was little, he would always try to find the end of the rainbow, but he got too tired to travel all the way. WIP

What is his favorite weather and why? (100 words minimum) Sar grew up in the desert. He loved to chase after the tumbleweeds and birds as a foal. His mother and father would watch carefully as their playful son ran after snakes or made new friends with the animals that shared their watering hole. But in the summer especially, dangerous sandstorms ran rampant across their lands. They destroyed their crops and filled their water with dirt and grit. Sandstorms brought great suffering to the desert. But regardless of this, as their family prepared for an oncoming storm, Sar would watch with wide eyed wonder at the power of the storms. He loved the strength they held, and the fact that his family could overcome them so quickly. It made him feel powerful.
